Thanks for the review. Is it just me or the pans are really far from being smooth?

its not smooth enough for video, but if you got a small setup and shoot hybrid it gets the job done

The pans look awful, to be honest
@alexandergavrilov2566

I believe the pans look jerky because he shot this in 24P (which he mentions in one of this replies). That's a bad frame rate for smooth pans, especially when watched on a 60HZ (or 120Hz) monitor. For this test in particular he really should've shot in 60P (or at least 30P). But year, totally noticed how horrible and jerky it looks. I switched to shooting 30p myself because of that.

@@alexandergavrilov2566 Thank you. This fella (who posted the video) has not addressed questions about this (above), the jerky movement in his first pan example. You certainly suggested a possible explanation. I just bought this pan head and if it's not smoother in the settings you suggested this thing is going back.

For 2 more lbs and less than 20 dollars more, should I really skip out on the 502 for this? I'll be doing weddings, possible real estate, and side gigs.

2:11~3:12 It seems that horizontal and vertical movements are both not that smooth. Is that the case? Or just because it was manually controlled? I want to find a fluid head for my DC and camcorder and just learnt that this one has the best price-performance ratio. But this not-that-smooth has me concerned about it.

@@Reviewlamp thank you for your reply but its not that doable because it doesn't have the adjustable ball like wit the Manfrotto Befree live Head , I was searching for a Manfrotto Tripod which is 1:80 cm max and also its head to be like the Manfrotto Befree live Head for faster adjustments , so do you have any idea , if you please ?
