No joke, I own that exact same volume of Shonen Jump. I bought it at a Scholastic Book Fair cause it had Yugioh 5ds on the cover, but then I read the rest of the chapters over and over again. It got me into Manga too. I wish now that I'd taken better care of it cause the pages are piss yellow.

Great collection! I really approve your taste, brother! I see a lot of classics, but where is my Evangelion at?! Give that a go since you already have most of the greats! It's a cultural main pillar for the Anime/Manga genre! As for some light novel recommendations, try Youjo Senki and Overlord. I really love RE:Zero too, and the other two that I just mentioned. They are all worth your time for they are great series in their respective rights, so definitely give them a couple of volumes ;) Keep up the good work, bro, appreciate what you do!

Question Im thinking about reading Blade of the Immortal, Vagabond and Vineland Saga. I hear they are all really good but If you had to rate these 3 in order what would it be? Just started reading Berserk btw. My favorite Manga is Kingdom, really wish it was printed in English.

Nice collection. I don't feel Berserk goes down later on. I prefer the story content after Golden Age. Finally someone with similar thoughts on Death Note. I don't like the 2nd half of it. It ruins the series. It had the perfect ending halfway in volume 7. Light novel recommendations - The Empty Box and the Zeroth Maria and if you've seen The Devil is a Part Timer and want more of the story then get the novels although I will say it has issues with grammar and descriptions of things often which has been annoying.

I feel that the storytelling falls a bit flat after the Conviction arc and the characters who were unique like Farnese and Puck become shallow side-characters in the shadow of Guts. Also thank you for the light novel recommendations and the very thorough comment!

ThePromG Volume 34 is the ending of the Falcon of the Millenium Empire, which is my fav berserk moment tied with the eclipse, it’s amazing the whole apostles and humans cooperating vs Ganishka, Griffith transforming into his Femto form, skullKnight appearing with his resonance sword and cutting Ganishka, creating the world tree and combining all realities, with all the fantasy creatures appearing on the world at the same time and with Falconia emerging. (And that’s without talking about the artwork that it’s the best artwork berserk has ever had without a doubt)

ThePromG Right now Fantasia is no way as good as GA, conviction or Falcon of the M.E, the Sea God part was not bad but it was one of the worst parts of berserk, I loved the build up with the island, the suspicious people on the villages and the tentacles, but the whole confrontation itself was very disappointing to me. Then we have Rickert on Falconia, which is amazing, I loved it, and for last, the elf island part, which is Great, I will wait to judge Fantasia as a whole since I think it has yet to show us a lot of things.

Great Collection. If you liked Berserk, maybe you would like something in the Dark Fantasy side in Light Novels, like Overlord, wich has hard cover editions or even Goblin Slayer. By the way, I like to read manwha from time to time and I enjoyed Witche Buster, but haven't been able to get more than 1 volume.
