Omgi just purchase attack on titan manga thru shopee located in malaysia.. This is my first time collecting and I'm glad my intuition really bother me like I've been looking online for answers if English translated mangas have different publisher aside from kodansha.. I'm so bothered by the fact that I couldn't see the kodansha logo on the buyers comments rather I saw a TR.. I search more and found that they are unofficial publisher.. Thankfully, I haven't received it yet and not planning on receiving it, they don't deserve the money..

I totally understand where you coming from bro, but you have to try it first…. I stared with comics I collected singles for over 15 years but those you cannot put on shelves so I change to collective editions, I did that for over 5 years then one day I bought one omnibus and my world changed now I’m on the process of changing all my collection to omnibus and I don’t regret a single thing.

To be perfectly frank Ive only read like 5 of these but Im really suprised that so many manga that didnt make it here but I wont say that ur wrong or anythinf bcz I havent read most of em on the list but I would have excpected stuff like:jojo(part7 in particular) hunterxhunter, chainsawman, maybe death note(not so sure about that one), code geass(I admit I dont even know if there is a manga of code geass, same with evangalion I know there is a manga but I think its worse than the anime) ,mob psycho(which I think is muchhhh beter than opm but I think there is only a web manga which is poorly drawn with that), attack on titan(even with its very confusing ending) etc but like I said I havent even heard of a lot of these manga so Im not judging or saying ur wrong Im just suprised is all

I wish a lot more had omnibuses, but I’m still super happy with my collection and can’t wait to get more. I also have a lot of these as anime DVDs and Blu-Rays and many other like all the Studio Ghibli movies, Code Geass and so much more. I also have a ton of different anime character collectibles from series like Naruto, One Piece, Dragon Ball, Bleach, Yu Yu Hakusho, Hunter x Hunter, My Hero Academia and many others.

I'm impressed by the fact you read as you buy lol and so many as well ,I just can't do it with manga unless it's an episodic series otherwise i just forget shit by the time the newer volumes come out so i usually wait untill i have the whole thing before reading.

My favourite pickup was the 3 volumes of “Ani to Imouto no Shitai Shitai Shitai Koto”, they’re in Japanese as it hasn’t been published in English. I read it online a few weeks ago & utterly fell in love with the main female character Shizuku, it’s a short romance story, I don’t even know how many times I reread it. But this story will only appeal to a small number of people as it’s between a brother & a sister. And I got the volumes so cheap, I would have instantly payed 10x the amount for each volume. I was actually kind of shocked that I found all 3 volumes immediately from the same seller, but they were the only ones I could find.

6:21 I picked up all the volumes of Nagatoro a few months ago & really enjoyed it. I started reading “Please Go Home, Miss Akatsu” and loved it so I picked up a few more romcoms. I did research & only chose series that have actual progression, so I totally avoided series like “Rent-A-Girlfriend”.

Yea I bought both volumes of Tomahawk Angel but haven’t read it yet, love the art style, very thick line work.

What do you do for work to afford this type of collection if you don't mind me asking ? I'm aware it's over a long time period but was just curious. Great video.

I am VERY new to Manga. Literally bought Solo Leveling volume 1 on the weekend to break me in with a book that reads left to right and is in colour. I have a decent sized collection of graphic novels which are predominantly superheroe based and I recently got in to buying single issues so that isn't going away any time soon. Thanks for this list. I've heard Astra on a few lists, so it's on mine and definitely plan to get Akira and also Ghost In The Shell. Planetes is new to me and I love sci-fi which is what most novels have been that I read.
