You have a beautiful collection! Fun fact that you might actually already know, but a lot of BL fall under the Josei demographic. So you have more than you know! Also a lot of gl is under the seinen demographic. I just love how you display your manga and you can really tell your love for each series. Read Given for the first time this year and obsessed! So excited for volume nine to come out.

Thank you so much! Yes, you're so right! BL and GL fall into so many other demos and that's something I love about them! Just within the BL manga that I own, there are so many different themes and relationship dynamics. I also can't wait for the next Given volume! Plus the hiiragi mix movie is coming out in Japan this month! Will have to patiently wait for the english release :')

@@bizarreindividual4026 the anime is a must!! The songs are everything! US release and sub probably won’t come out for several months, so you have time! I think the Sasaki and Miyano movie took about 6 months after the Japan premiere last year.

Love that you address not having unlimited funds and that you need to be more selective of the manga you collect. I like watching people’s manga collections but I personally don’t think I would ever have as many manga as YT and IG collectors. I just don’t have the space and I can’t justify collecting manga all Willy nilly. I have to really love a series/know that I’m going to read it more than once in order to buy physical copies of it. I especially can’t get behind or understand collectors who just buy to collect and not actually read the manga they buy. It’s wild to me 😮

@@Angel_xoxo973 for sure! I can’t see my collection becoming so massive that the majority is unread. I think there’s no problem with that if you love collecting but I try to be a bit selective and find things secondhand when I can :)

hi! really liked this video and loved how you had your manga in your spreadsheet and the categorizing and organizing you used. i also use a spreadsheet but i would love to know how you organize your spreadsheet ! maybe a video all about it ? ie, making a spreadsheet from scratch and any tips and tricks you use to make your spreadsheet organized and clean !

Thank you! The spreadsheets definitely make it easier to keep organized and I actually modeled my tracker after another creator, mangatama, after seeing her video last year! Something's Wrong With Us is fantastic. Such a good read and it really keeps you on your toes, just an FYI the story finishes at volume 16, everything after is extra short stories, so if you see confusing info on how many volumes there are, that is why, the last couple volumes are just extras and not actually part of the main story. Also I agree with you about A Clear Moonlit Dusk. I started it because I liked the concept, but then reading it was like, nothing happens outside of JUST the concept, the plot felt really stale imo and i couldn't get into it.

That collection is awesome. I’ve been collecting mangas for six years, and even much, much longer because I started getting them for the first time in 2011 when a friend gave me a Naruto manga. As far as my collection now, I have all of Naruto, all the current volumes of Boruto, all of Fullmetal Alchemist, Dragon Ball, all the current omnibuses of One Piece, a few volumes of Bleach, all of Yu Yu Hakusho, all the currently made volumes of Hunter x Hunter, every single Yu-Gi-Oh! volume as well as all the spin-off mangas of it, I’m working on finishing Rurouni Kenshin, I have all the current ones for My Hero Academia, One-Punch Man, all of Dr. Stone, Food Wars, Assassination Classroom, Demon Slayer, The Promised Neverland, some of Jujutsu Kaisen, Slam Dunk, Haikyu, D.Gray-Man, Chainsaw Man, Spy x Family, Kaiju No. 8, Shaman King, Toriko, Gintama, Blue Exorcist, Undead Unluck, all of the current volumes of Black Clover, all of Death Note, the first volumes of all the JoJo parts so far, some of Inuyasha and Yashahime, some of Black Lagoon, all of Fairy Tail, The Seven Deadly Sins, as well as all the Colossal Editions of Attack On Titan and all the Deluxe Editions of Berserk. I’m hoping to get a box set for Tokyo Ghoul and Tokyo Ghoul: Re. A good amount of these were hard to get since some weren’t sold where I am, I had to order some series from America like Yu Yu Hakusho, Shaman King, Toriko and Gintama. I like to have all my Shonen Jump mangas together and I personally prefer getting omnibus versions of manga so a lot of the ones I listed are in 3 in 1 omnibus editions. I wish a lot more had omnibuses, but I’m still super happy with my collection and can’t wait to get more.

My favorite romance manga is tonikaku kawaii or fly me too the moon it has like 30 something volumes and it’s still ongoing it starts as a really fluffy romance but after volume 15 I think it becomes more of a darker series but it still is really cute and fun. It also has a anime

@@SailorMoonFan92 I am a big sailor moon fan :) I decided I wanted to collect that version instead of the eternal or naoko takeuchi version and I’ve been collecting it slowly secondhand. I’ve read the manga online more times than I can count and I’ve got the complete set now, just not at the time of filming this :)

I'd say what was animated is pretty faithful to the manga, but it did switch around the order of events a bit. There's so much more story in the manga though from where the anime ended, so I definitely recommend checking it out if you loved the anime! :)
