I don't know how Lab316 determines who gets first dibs on particular scripts, but I do know that voice actors have the option of rejecting scripts they do not like. For example, anyone who hates Paul Hikari's voice acting should look to channels that upload mostly tsundere videos. He said he will never voice a tsundere story again after his last Uta video.

Even if he says "I like all the girls in the game equally" you could still judge he shows just a little bit of favoritism to one of the others, that minimum favoritism being the one he chose to finish first. And whichever character he chose to finish first gets to be the girl he re-enacts the scene with on there Dating Sim anime pilgrimage. It was the only fair way to determine who used him to play out the scene on the spot. The only answer that would negate the first route favoritism argument is "I only picked that route because I thought was the most logically canon route

Plus the whole scenario is odd considering how litte they have show indication toward a character, it blevie the narrative tries implie that the current girls are similar to the characters in the eroge so chosing a character is the same as choosing a girl. Ecpet that in both cases, nothing is know aobut the, them the eroge plot is not elavoreated and the girls act toward general ideas whiout much proper personification, so when they are asked to be choose from, none are slectable as they all strangers to both the MC and the audience.
