I really liked this one. It was nice and wholesome and had no antagonists whatsoever. I thought this was going to be another typical gold digger/NTR story with someone stealing the MC's lover, but thankfully that wasn't the case at all. Aoi actually had a good reason for wanting to break off the engagement with Subaru and never mistreated him in any way whatsoever. Not to mention she was quite sweet and supportive of him and his relationship with Saki. And I really love Subaru and Saki' relationship as well! It's a really great thing that these two hooked up and got together and eventually got married

Really good video and needs more thumbs up. This is a twist off the typical story - normally both the MC and the FMC hate the arranged marriage, and normally they end up together anyway. This time one character unilaterally wanted to break it, and there was no interest by either party in getting back together. MC handled the breakup like a champ - he was calm and well spoken. Sure, he was a bit depressed, but he didn't simp. He didn't drag things along. He got back up on his feet and even worked to improve himself. His confession was straightforward and well done - no embarrassment or ridiculous drama And best girl won.

In japan, especially in Manga and anime, arranged marriages are still a thing. Additionally they have a strong sense to be loyal to their families so more often than not children will just go along with what their parents want, even if it's said arranged marriage where one or both individuals aren't even attracted to each other. They choose to go along with it out of obligation for their family, at that point they can only break it off if the families have a falling out or in this case if one of them is planning to move and basically never come back.

That’s bc she didn’t, at no point in this story did Aoi believe Honda would make a good partner. They likely kept in contact bc they knew each other for so long and they’re family friends. If she cared even slightly, she would have asked him to come or wait. I did not particularly care for the ending myself regarding those two because it felt like their relationship was never genuine (friends or otherwise)

Yeah, it makes sense how their engagement fell apart. As someone who has been around childhood best friend of the opposite gender since I was 8. I can tell you what feelings you had can fade over time and be replaced with more family like feelings. As you get more familiar with the other person. Even if the ex-fiancee haven't cheating, I would rather cutting ties with her because i wouldn't stand her for calling off the marriage. did anyone noticed that both this channel and their spin-off started doing compilations lately? the thumbnail looked cute and hot like i was seeing this similar clip from 2 months ago called "she rejected me because there was someone else she liked... the next day, she saw me..." .with that girl wearing a kimono but she looked hot here even though him crying and being consoled is both sad and heartwarming. this story felt like ayasaki-san's episode from a year ago called "a junior employee was jealous because I was going to meet with my ex..." mixed with this one on her 11 months ago called "my childhood friend keeps rejecting me, so a classmate asked me out instead" and maybe a bit like this one also from a year ago called "beautiful girl makes fun of me for being dumped, but turns out she likes me...". quite a blast from the past i've seen despite being new. story's good overall. even though saki didn't think subaru (re:zero, much?) was still longing for aoi, what was the point in aoi reaching out to him? also, that ending confused me when he said "the three of us"? didn't he say she was already seeing a guy overseas? so shouldn't the correct term be a double date? but wait, both subaru and saki are married now so no? i liked how saki grew her hair own while aoi looked the same but she looks familiar from another show. Is it me or does this art style and character design look familiar? it's new to me but anyone might've seen his before like years back but i might be wrong? I've seen some new effects but again, I might be wrong.

Part 2: Subaru and Saki's engagement didn't last too long. It turned out, she cheated on him with Aoi's boyfriend after they returned from overseas. What's worse is that Subaru was fired from his job after false accusations caused by his ex-girlfriend Suki and Aoi's ex-boyfriend. Aoi's ex-boyfriend and Saki refused to pay alimony as their engagement was called off. Aoi heard Subaru's story and they both plotted revenge and she offered him to work at her company. Saki and Aoi's ex-boyfriend boasted their engagement in front of Subaru. However, they got exposed and arrested as it turns out they were embezzling money from Subaru's old company. They were sentenced to 10 years in prison and were forced to pay alimony to Subaru. Both Saki and her partner in crime were now in debt and homeless because of their criminal record. As for Aoi and Subaru, although they couldn't start over as a married couple, they continued to work as business partners. End.
