I think I now see the difference between when Mc breaks up with FMC without say and FMC breaks up with MC without say. It goes like this. MC will reunite with the FMC at a job interview and she’s the one doing the interview and basically starts asking MC random personal questions and abusing her power and basically gives MC an ultimatum. If it’s the other way around MC will simp for the ex. Shinji and Ranka were not actually dating. He became her fake bf to drive away that stalker so I don’t think he dumped her but she kinda took it personal

I haven't seen the video yet, but I will assume is one of those where the MC felt he wasn't enough for his GF, decided to break up with her and now she confronts him in a job interview with unrelated questions about their former relationship. EDIT: well, they weren't even a couple. He wanted to help her due to a stalker following her and acted as her bodyguard/fake boyfriend, both catched feelings for each other and by the time they finished Highschool he decided not to truly go for her due to feeling not being good enough for her. Just a bit variation to other similar stories, but these "My new boss is my ex-girlfriend" mangas have been seen so much that this one doesn't stand out at all.

Yeah, Ranka very much abused her power during the interview. She's lucky Shinji was more focused on joining the company and working with her.😅 But it's nice that Shinji explained himself to Ranka and the two could come to an understanding and become close as they worked together.😊

Y'know, normally I'm here criticizing those who go attack FMC for a lack of professionalism, countering with "She owns the company, he needs employment, if she gives employment, idc." But... yikes, this one's hard to defend. I've seen a lot of RomCom Mangas where the interviewer at least leaves the personal question for _last._ That, I can defend, as they also often accompany that with "Oh, no, you passed, this is just a post-interview question." but... before the interview even started, she came off as cold and spiteful, but at least PROFESSIONAL, ordering him to sit down so the interview can proceed, alerting him that there's other candidates after him, etc. ... Then just makes the first question "What's your body count?" Like... C'mon! You're purposely throwing off a man who just wants to take his shot at acquiring his dream job. I'm not asking for favoritism, just _don't be a douchebag!_ I can't even object to "separate personal from business", 'cause she doesn't even get there, for me! If he didn't feel nothin' for her OR the job, I'd absolutely just say "Record a chat with her being unprofessional, hire a lawyer to use the recording in court to sue the company" but again, dream job. The most I can defend with is literally _that._ "Dream job means you'll put up with a lot of crap, as long as the rose-tinted glasses retain their rosey tint." But screw the CEO.
