Oh Bii... I’m glad you found your way to Daiso and the Crescent shopping center, but this is nowhere close to downtown! It’s in the Highland neighborhood, downtown is by the river, between Mopac and I-35. You have to check out Sazan Ramen (the noodle restaurant you walked by)... it’s easily the best ramen in town!

The familiar one you picked up is called ten count 😂 it has an anime adaptation. The blue cover BL you picked up is called yatamomo and is by Harada who is not someone who writes things for the faint of heart! 😂 the author of heartstopper has actually said that it isn’t BL and has talked down on BL which has caused a little drama on the scene recently 👀

I feel that I can totally relate to you in regards to not looking the part or like an otaku, but I’ve been a total fan or nerd for Japanese and Korean pop culture for so many years.. I personally stopped hiding that fact, because there was that stigma for girls way back in the days, but now I’m always sharing or suggesting to many friends! 😊 I also wanted to say that I throughly enjoy watching your videos, so chill and calm and interesting, I even enjoy when you talk about other topics not related to your channel. 👍☺️

The daiso by me is also named something different. That's so interesting. Lol I walked in and was like this is an undercover daiso. Hahha The area you went to looks amazing! We have the same bookstore too but yours is soo much bigger!
