I like that they published things that weren’t normally being published but, I wish they’d picked better stories in general.

@@maeve_ever_manga true, some of their stuff i dont think even japan published. they had some indie stuff some magazine only stuff, compilation books, literally whatever, my conspiracy is they used fan translations

In regards to the ones you didn't remember why you liked it, I think when just starting out with manga, especially back in the day when Tokyopop was huge, we just picked up whatever we could get our hands on. I'm so glad there is a bigger variety of manga now~

2:56 Nice, X-Day. Setona Mizushiro-sensei is one of my favorite mangaka as well. 4:28 Slayers was one of my first anime. Good taste.

I currently have 957 manga in my collection. 😅 And I think my favorite genre is paranormal and/or fantasy. Things like The Ancient Magus’ Bride, Angel Sanctuary, D Gray-Man, Drifters, Fairy Tale Battle Royale, The Girl from the Other Side, Higurashi no Nako Koro Ni, Mythical Beast Investigator, Noragami, Toilet Bound Hanako-kun, etc.

I forgot what Samurai Champloo’s ending was like. I think it’s been over 10 years since I’ve seen it. I might check out the manga sometime since I never read it, even if the ending is the same.

I actually have one volume of another series by Setona Mizushiro called Black Rose Alice. It's actually pretty interesting. But I never managed to find the rest.

Far From Home is considered a "classic" shojo isn't it? I've been curious about that one! For some reason, I thought Samurai Champlou was so short! And no ending!?! What in the world?! Whoa Takeru looks really cool! I love the covers! Also, your Japanese is AMAZINGGGGGG!!

From Far Away is a Classic!! I don’t know whether it’s considered to be one or not but, I consider it one. My Japanese is amazing?? What do you mean?? 😅 I’m hoping to complete some of the series I already own like Higurashi or School Live. Or get caught up on like Ooku, Yona, Happy Sugar Life, Witch Hat Atelier, and To Your Eternity. 😊
