Like you say, you can get a really good idea about what he's all about just from the monotone but confident tone. DF was insanely good. I can't get over the visuals and the sound design on that one! Thanks for the vid Steady! I didn't know about Nanami's glasses or catch the detail of the ticket booth lady and custodian so props to you for catching those details. This episode really makes me wonder how curses can manifest in front of normal people like in Junpei's case my understanding is that he can see Mahito because he had intense hatred for the boys which is in line with the kind of curse Mahito is, so if a normal person were to express really negative emotions could curses manifest in front of them as well?

Btw: that scene with the doctor talking about the soul: I peeped it and I thought that it was a really early reference to the latest chapters in the manga. Not just with Mahito, but when Satoru eggs on Getou telling him that he allowed his body to be taken over like that and his arm reacts to that. I like that the anime is already reflecting on that concept.

Hi, Afi! Tsuda was a surprise for me as well but I'm warming up to it! I've always pictured Nanami's voice as a little more soft but well spoken and confident. Something like Daisuke Namikawa's portrayal of Goemon in "Blood Spray". A little higher in tone though.

Oh man you tell that the team at MAPPA loves our boy Nanami just as much as we do, and almost as much as Steady does! Another beautiful episode, those Mahito scenes had me so immersed. Also hey Steady! I had a question about being a translator at Viz. Since I'm limited to the Crunchyroll subs, in this episode we heard Nanami's rant describing work and Jujutsu Sorcerers as 'shit' instead of 'idiotic' like in the official release. Is Viz paritcularly strict when it comes to using harsh language like swear words in their translations? Or was this just a creative liberty on the part of the Crunchyroll team?
