Michika is a fool. Not only is it obvious that her two friends are deeply in love with each other, but distancing herself from Reiji because she was worried about what other people would think is terrible; she's lucky that he was willing to forgive and accept her. I dated and eventually married a girl who is dramatically out of my league in terms of looks, wealth and social status -- none of which matters to her at all. She has told me many times that she fell in love with me because I treat her with respect and kindness, that I'm loyal and faithful, and that I love her unconditionally. This was cute, Michika and Reiji are so cute together, not to mention the double love story with Nodoka and Ippei was really cute and sweet too. This was a really cute story of childhood friends reuniting and falling in love. And that ending where they confess to one another after the sleepwalking confusion was really sweet and wholesome. And that kiss on Reiji's lap was so cute, it really was an adorable end to an amazing story.

The beginning of the story I can relate to, during my high school years two girl were engaged to be married and had the ring and photos/videos for proof. My brother also had a girl in his class be engaged before she graduated but unlike me he met the fiancé during his senior prom and it was a guy from Nicaragua who couldn't speak proper English and spoke mostly Spanish which my brother and the girl who was going to get married both spoke fluently. If I remember correctly he also told me that if she did get married her parents would cut her off financially because they didn't like the guy since he wasn't a born American citizen but an immigrant.
