My interpretation of hollow purple is it combines the tornado suction pull of blue, and the pushing of red, so it just tears away at anything it touches like a more extreme version of someone standing on you while they pull your arm. Their legs are pushing against your body while their hands are pulling your arm, which can eventually result in your arm being torn off.

To help explain, we see gojo use red on toji and it pushes him away. If gojo were to use blue on toji in that moment, toji would be torn apart across the whole blue sphere, but if it was a small sphere like the red used, then it would leave a very rough circular tear in toji's stomach like if he got hit by a drill. Finally we see gojo use purple on toji which results in a clean circular hole through toji's side cus the blue and red were pulling and pushing at each other and toji

Any localized perturbation, no matter how small, starts an exponentially growing cascade that strongly affects physics everywhere inside the future light cone of the perturbation. So other matter which is basically excitations of quantum fields in that region, what a tachyon does is disrupt those excitations. Basically making matter there decay down EXTREMELY fast. That's why I believe the hollow purple is imaginary mass/tachyon

I have a question about Choso in chapter 258, he said that because of his body composition, being a death painting womb, he is able to convert cursed energy into blood, which is something we all already knew, Choso asked other RCT users how they compensate for the lost blood when they heal themselves, Hakari and Yuta couldn't respond because to them it's instinctual, Shoko however, said that she also converts her CE into blood thanks to RCT, this led Choso to state that to him "and Yuji after eating the death paintings, which allowed him to gain the same body properties as Choso's" it should be easier to learn RCT, because his body already allows him to perform the CE to blood conversion part on its own. To this day i wasn't sure Choso could learn reverse cursed technique because of him being half cursed spirit "full cursed spirits cannot perform RCT, they heal themselves with regular CE, positive energy is deadly to them" and i thought that he could heal himself in a similar fashion to how cursed spirits do it, so with regular CE, without having to learn RCT, but this discussion he had with the others completely change that, and it makes sense, because although he is half cursed spirit, his body is made out of flesh and blood, not of pure CE like that of cursed spirits. Do you think Choso is currently able to perform RCT?

Yeah, it destroys matter to the point it looks like it got erased and since it is just ce it can be countered with ce. And hollow purple has a range too where it gets smaller and smaller until the ce dissipates as seen in toji fight. So Sukuna didn't get hit by actual 200% hollow purple since he was far from it.

Problem is, nothing suggests that nor it erases stuffs(atoms). What it does is, "by combining Blue and Red, the resulting virtual mass rushes forth." *Yes, it's the same as Yuki's(same kanji, and later corrected), Imaginary Mass is a mistranslation. So, Red & Blue is an energy attack, Purple is energy+virtual mass(while Yuki is mass+virtual mass). Which means, by looking at how Yuki's works, Purple is just a heavy(due to the added mass) ball of energy.

gojo's ability is basically to bring forth the concept of infinity through space manipulation, he does that with the base version, blue, red, with his teleport and obviously with purple. i don't know what people think of when they say existence erasure but purple's ability is to destroy everything it goes through, whether it's on an atomic level or not i don't know but i think it does destroy things to a level that it doesn't matter. since it's a curse technique it won't be like a hax ability and it will actually depend on your cursed energy output, range of the attack, area of the attack and obviously your opponents defenses through cursed energy. we can see that when gojo shot a purple through toji and it would become smaller with distance and how the one against sukuna which had an expanded range was weaker.

If the plan is explained after it is executed, it will succeed" (This is not a hardcore rule, but you can see it almost everywhere in shonen, a lot of mangaka's play around with this ""rule"" to maintain engagement with the audience.) But yea- idk why people were way too eager to say "sukuna is destroying the heroes and they are scrambling for last chances" when it was well established there's a big plan and none of the good guys have said anything to the effect of "that was our final plan we are doomed" or " it's over, the plan failed". The narrator has done it's job well by glazing Sukuna, Gege has done his job planting the seeds of elements we had questions for regarding the cards our the protagonists have up their sleeves. P.s. Also, it's kinda fun and fitting if you see this as a heist to steal Megumi's soul/body back from Sukuna.

I imagine hallow purple something similar to a "self-contained grinder" It doesn't "attract" or "repulse" matter. Once matter comes within the radius of the attack, that matter is violently ripped apart erratically on a molecular level. One could also assume that applying more CE to a hollow purple simply increases said RADIUS not destructive power, you can see the difference from when he first unlocks CTR against toji and then his future applications of Purple. Its stated when Yuji first unlocks his CT, his output was low because he just figured it out. I imagine it would be the same for gojo. In addition, I would relate his Purple energy to something in physics called a "Tachyon" which behaves the opposite of normal matter. This means the imaginary mass would "speed up" as it "lost energy". The further the purple travels the more destructive it becomes until the purple energy reduced to zero.

I always thought that Holllow Purple was bringing the concept of Zero into reality, If Blue causes negative space to exist and Red causes positive space to exist then the combination of both, I.E. Purple, would cause a lack of space to exist. but instead it's not that? it's just an "imaginary space" that rips apart and compresses together anything it touches at the atomic level...maybe it's just because I'm not a scientist but what's the difference? If your atoms are torn apart or crushed (or both in this instance) then they are destroyed either way. Hollow Purple touches you and your atoms are eradicated...that just sounds like another way of saying "erased". What am I missing?

yeah but when people say erasing existence, they don't mean it destroys something so bad it simply is nothing but dust. erasing existence means you make the matter itself the atom themselves erased from reality, which is super powerful cause it means you essentially have multiple by 0 ability in your hands. meaning you can just erase anything, which should include the fingers of Sakuna and the barrier that stops Gojo from going inside or out. but Gojo never does it instead he even states he cannot do it but if he had erasing existence then it shouldn't be a problem for him to erasing Sakuna fingers cause they are made out of matter. the best way I can put it to perspective, that's like saying Kamehameha (H. P.) is erasing existence when everybody can resist it by just having more muscles which proves Kamehameha isn't erasing existence but compared it to then Zano who can just be like begone th0t and then an entire person is erased from existence without even having a chance to save himself. to put it to perspective you cannot resist erasing existence that's the point, you cannot be like oh I'm not gonna become a zero just cause I have more muscles. Sakuna even resisted hollow purple and then in the middle of the fights he gets punched in the chest and was about to die which then he summoned mahagora. so Sakuna can resist the concept of his existence being erased but not receiving a powerful punch to the chest was all it took him to almost die? not only that, the argument of combing both blue + red equals the ability to erase matter just sounds stupid, you cannot mix the ability to pull something and then the ability to push something to get existence erasure. that's like arguing you mix milk + cookies and cause of it, you start a chain reaction to create a nuclear bomb like the difference is so big its actually laughable.

I love your videos and I'd like to know your opinion on these two questions of mine, please. - Considering the theory that Gojo uses a binding vow to return to life and lose his Six Eyes in the process, how would he be able to utilize his Limitless without it? Would the loss significantly impact his fighting style, including his CT, infinity and Domain Expansion? Given his extensive experience and training, would he still be able to execute these techniques from memory without using more cursed energy than needed? Specifically regarding his use of Blue to enhance hand-to-hand combat, how might this aspect of his fighting style be affected? In my opinion, he would still be able to use them but he wouldn’t be able to be as precise as before which would make his attacks more or less destructive than needed. Considering these potential changes, how would you rank his overall strength and power in this hypothetical scenario? - Additionally, in one of your videos, it was suggested that using Limitless without the Six Eyes could be near impossible due to the requirement for extensive environmental awareness. Given this, how did the Gojo clan maintain its status as one of the big three clans in the absence of a Limitless AND six eyes user for centuries? Did they rely on other resources such as wealth or political influence to maintain their position?

I don't think he'd be Special Grade anymore but I'd still say Grade 1 and among the strongest there. Thank you again!

For purple: I think of it as every atom in the area is bombarded with imaginary mass. Extremely destructive, but it doesn’t just completely ignore durability. Sukuna’s cursed energy reinforcement still let him absorb the hit. Unlikely anyone else in the verse could pull that off. Regarding maximums, they just seem like a funny a name for “advanced” variations on your base technique. Do to the vast differences between cursed techniques, not all techniques would have a reverse form or a maximum. Hell, look at Hakari or hiragaruma who basic need domain to function lol.

What if the death blow to Yuji is blocked by Choso, inspiring an RCT trained Yuji to unlock his RCT domain expansion where "his" attacks might not always hit, but any attacks will only hit him, thus making a truly inescapable domain as anything his opponents try is merely fed into him and his domain. But this would normally cancel out to zero when combined Instead, I think combining them breaks the number line extending out to ±infinity and jumps out into imaginary numbers. Just to offer a different perspective to manga's on the sukuna fingers question, it's possible each finger offers roughly a fingerer bearer's worth of CE (remember each of these is considered special grade) and even if sukuna could use domain expansion, it's possible his output and refinement aren't high enough at few fingers gojo estimated jogo to "probably" be stronger than 4 finger sukuna and kenjaku gave him a generous estimation of 8 or 9 fingers worth so it's entirely possible sukuna couldn't actually kill everyone not named gojo even at few fingers

@sanicboi9187 given their performance against hanami, mahito and dagon, respectively, I could see nanami and todo fairing decently up against 1 or 2 finger sukuna, but that is only until he decides to use domain expansion, after which they would be toast (similar to dagon and mahito, or if hanami used domain), or even just fuga Given megumi felt toji was comparable to 4 finger sukuna, it's likely 3 finger sukuna would already be too much for any grade 1 sorcerer, overwhelming them physically with no need to resort to domain expansion or fuga Just my opinion though

Also, even though megumi did mention toji was comparable to 4 finger sukuna, its difficult to compare someone without CE to those with it unless they fought directly, so maybe toji's special attributes of being ignored by domain expansion would allow him to scale as high as 10 fingers, impossible to know for certain.

Anyway, if Maki can live 2 black flashes from Heian-Era Sukuna even with a lower output that increased after the first one then Toji would tank it as well. He has more battle experience and intelligence than Maki, which ranks him higher. If Jogoat's maximum meteor could've damaged a 15F Sukuna if it landed then Toji would also be able to damage him more or less. Even if you want to lowball him he's still way above 4 fingers. Goodwill Yuji's consecutive black flashes would've killed Jogoat as stated in the author's note so if he's 4+ fingers then potential man can't scale correctly.

More so that it just negates durability. So If somewhere to get hit but a slash that was 'bigger' than them, I do think they'd just get completely obliterated, but not 'erased.' If that makes sense. In the same way a Hollow Purple would completely obliterate someone if it was bigger than them, but HP also wouldn't erase matter.

I rag on Gege's writing a lot, but his use of suspense through flashing back to the team's planning phase when relevant is actually pretty good. A rule of thumb when writing plans/preparations is that you only show the preparation if the plan is going to fail. The thrill will come from the creative way the villain adapts to the hero's plan, or the one thing they failed to account for. On the other hand, it can be just as thrilling to have it seem as though the heroes are being desperate and reckless only to reveal how calculated they were as the plan plays out and they eventually succeed. If you show the plan and then show that everything goes according to plan it feels a bit redundant.

Then relating the things when necessary and expanding to give you the full picture.. For example:- when sukuna opened his domain and the flashback happened , they talked about how they would counter domains and learn through body swap( which was already established). Cut the flashback And itadori with full page spread hits the new shadow style's simple domain with both feet firmly in the ground and utter conviction on his face. I swear to god my reaction was kenjaku's when he saw mechamaru performing the simple domain in the mahito fight. I don't think better writing than this is possible in these scenarios. Gege really thought about it all good.

Binding vows could be used on oneself or with others. However, it's not as easy at it looks, otherwise, everyone would have Barrierless Domains💀. Listen people: i think we have a confirmation that Sukuna extractes techniques by eating people. Yuji has shrine. Yuji ate his brothers. Yuji now has his brothers technique which is blood manipulation. Since Sukuna has the same technique shrine, and Sukuna being heavily described as being a cannibal and also shrine being heavily associated with cooking and eating, it's safe to say that one of shrines abilities is to extract techniques from eating people. That's why Sukuna is a cannibal.

Two similar but opposite versions of shrine. Or maybe sukunas shrine allows him to eat a person and get his cursed energy, but his twin's shrine gives you cursed techniques after eating a person

Sukuna's Finger is not just about Cursed Energy. Each Finger also contains a fragment of his soul. Each of it acts like a boost to the maximum cap of his overall stats. Thus, making the Mummified Head not a true equal to 1 Finger as it does not contain a fragment of his soul, it only contains Cursed Energy.
