Nen is still not completely understood in HxH. Ging seems to have tapped into a different direction than the map. Perhaps that's why he was a rune hunter. The ancient people may have known things we don't. What's weird is that it's directly across from Gon. For all we know, there are people that the nen chart doesn't apply to. They completely break the rules of the chart. Togashi releases more info as we go by and nobody in HxH knows about this chart where affinities mix. There can be a rare affinity that crosses the charts aceoss or even has somebody born with two affinities at 100%. I think being exposed to Ai is going to have done something to Gon. He was exposed to an incredible amount of nen. His body was definitely affected twice by incredibly strong nen. He may have made a contract, but Ai has nen that goes far beyond that. If something happens with Gon's nen, it'll be something we haven't seen. The nen from the DC definitely did something to his nen; good or bad.

Togashi self-admittedly during Yu Yu hakusho, said that, he wanted to explore the character of Mukuro more, but did not get the chance to do so. Gyro seemed like an attempt at continuing that character. With his health in mind, Morena being a replacement of gyro could make sense. Morena and Mukuro are more similar than Gyro and Morena. That can also mean that we will not get to see Gon - i.e. if this is supposed to be the final arc.

I dont think it's likely Gon becomes a specialist, but depending on what his goals are now that he found his father, I believe it's possible. Gon seems like the kind of person who can do anything if it's in service of completing his main goal. If his goal requires him to become a specialist, then he will become a specialist, no matter how rare or uncommon that is.

In this regard, Chrollo would be "Gyro" too.

I actually got a theory about this Morena. What if she's Sheila? I m thinking that Sheila is also the daughter of Pariston. (I'm only thinking that because their face similarities when she was child at least). After Sheila left Meteor City, found her father (Pariston) and now she's on the Black Whale as Pariston's joker card? I don't have any evidences to provide this, but i m thinking about it since now it's confirmed that Morena is not actually Morena. And also because i believe Pariston does have his own plan here, there it's no way not to.

I like the idea of Gyro being one of the awakened specialists that Dogman has already encountered on the ship. If he really did bring the Chimera Ants back from the Dark Continent in order to destroy humanity then it makes sense for him to try and return in order to give it another go.

I think Alluka reverted Gon back to the state that he was in prior to learning Nen when she healed him. Probably necessary to void the nen contract that he made.

Gyro for me is a perfect character to take advantage of the HUGE power vacuum left by the top 5% of all nen users heading to the Dark Continent. He for sure has nen now.
