Mangapps Railway Museum

Easter Sunday and a visit to one of my local lines. Mangapps railway museum sits just outside Burnham on Crouch Essex. A wonderful collection of everything to do with railways all brought together on this site by John Jolly along with friends and family, the railway is built around a farm. The museum includes a 0.75 mile line where steam and diesel trains run on selected weekends of the year with steam power provided by the East Essex locomotive society.

Newly acquired Peckett 0.4.0st 2087 (formerly of Bucks Railway Centre)
BR Class 31 31430 "Sister Dora"
