Namaste The position of Mangal is to be seen from three reference points viz. lagna, chandra and shukra. Hence its strength will differ in individual charts. For instance if the dosha appears only from lagna but not from chandra and shukra , it can be deemed as light. Moreover there are many exceptions which, if they occur, result in cancellation of the Dosha. Hence one must not tag oneself as Manglik or Non Manglik (Since it is a relative strength assessment and is not an absolute Yes or No). During Matchmaking this is only one aspect and there are many other factors that need to be considered before concluding on the feasibility of the match. Thanks.
