This might have been one of my most anticipated videos from you because of your original excitement of the fragrance, Marc. It's always a joy to see you light up with a fragrance because I know something is special when you have these genuine reactions. That's why I'm in this hobby, too, to have those experiences that make you light up! I sadly do not know of any mango-based scents, but have you ever explored passionfruit scents at all? One in that category that I can recommend would be Dahab by Kajal Perfumes Paris; I think you might dig that one. I'll look into sampling Mango Skin when I can, too. Thanks bud! Passion Fruit? Hmmm, I did recently unbox Tony Iommi from Xerjoff that has that in it but I was disappointed because I could not smell it in the intro but again it was just one wearing.

@@robes08 -- If it was the Monkey Special, that is more booze centric. You were probably disappointed because it has nuances of some other frags out in the market, namely Nasamatto Baronda and Unique'e Luxury Kutay. I sampled Monkey Special and didn't get passionfruit at all much. The passionfruit is there, but it's not really forward because of the rum, cinnamon, and some other nuances. You'll get the passionfruit in Dahab, I guarantee it.

@@robes08 Another one with a good passion fruit note is Halston Man in the silver bottle. Was released at the same time as Man Amber, but the Amber came in a gold bottle, while Halston Man was.silver.

This sounds delicious. Mango is one of my favorite fruits pelt because the scent is so luscious and creamy. I've seen but hearing your review levels up my desire to get this. Cheers.

I too have very few mango scents. Not exactly a popular accord in masculine designer perfumery. Polo Black actually the only one I can think of off the top of my head. But I have heard this one is killer. Just finished Nicolai sampling week last week and I remember a few of their older stuff having mango too. But it's primarly a soapy floral house. Very decent prices for their stuff at some discounters.

@@robes08 No, but Patchouli Intense is my fav of the line. Ramsey calls it Geranium intense. 😄 New York Intense, Number One Intense and Cap Neroli round out my top 4. I feel like they should've renamed the brand Parfums d'Intense 😂 Dying to try Riviera Verbena for the spring. I know it has calone so we'll need to be careful.

I have been checking this house looking at this one and Morning Chess…The only frag I have with Mango I believe is Un Jardin Sur Le Nil.

Great review. Love Mango Skin! A couple other mango fragrances I love are God of Fire by Stéphane Humbert Lucas and Chypre Mojo 45 by Parle Moi de Parfum.

…i certainly don’t want the inappropriate affected personal stories “ this is about my grandfather playing chess” “ Bowie in Berlin” etc etc gimmick ad copy which has nada to do the liquid in the bottle…particularly hard to stomach niche and indie offerings that ply that kind of tripe…and yes of course Designer as bad in own way and suffers from depersonalization re consumer lol, can’t win !

@@robes08 right.. she's got that synthetic mango note and tried to have those fresh sweet accords and notes like fig leaf, cucumber amd whatnot..but it vaguely smells....ok. this is that sweet freshness she wanted...this going mkre sweet tban fresh..but it lasta longer as well as smells better
