Thai mango sticky rice is probably one of the most popular Asian desserts in Hong Kong. I am a big fan of Thai food. This is one of our family favourites. 芒果糯米飯是我最愛的泰國食品之一,所以特意去泰國學了這道甜品。

Ingredients 食材 (4 Servings | 4份 )
250g of Thai sticky rice 泰國糯米
2 tbsp of mung beans 綠豆瓣
Pandanus Coconut Syrup 香蘭葉椰子糖漿
175ml coconut cream 椰漿
75g white sugar 白糖
2g of sea salt 海鹽
2 pieces of pandanus leaves 香蘭葉
Coconut Sauce 椰子醬
100ml coconut milk 椰奶
10g of white sugar 白糖
2g of rice flour 沾米粉
1g of sea salt 海鹽

Hi friends, Here are a few cooking tips for this dessert recipe. 1) Make sure you soak the mung beans at least 2 hours. You can taste the beans to make sure the centre is not hard. They should be dark yellow and crunchy after frying. 2) I use coconut cream for the syrup and coconut milk for the sauce. Coconut cream is thicker and very rich. 3) You could find pandanus leaves from Thai store or Asian stores. They have a distinct flavour. Makes this dessert authentic and absolutely delicious. 4) If you have kids, cook the rice for 5 more minutes. I like the rice a bit chewy but my kids prefer a softer texture. it is so simple but very good 😄😄😄 I like 😄😄😄 but why do you give salt everywhere? 😄😄😄

Yes, this is a delicious dessert. This is an authentic Thai recipe. Salt actually bring out more flavours. I cut down a bit of salt for the sauce because non-thai people may find it slightly too salty. :)

太客氣了。。。:P 要最少泡兩小時。。要買己經去皮分成兩瓣那種,我們也會用它來包粽子。。。

這個有 D 難度。

比較難的是炸綠豆瓣,泡的時間和炸的火侯要掌握準確,不過可以把綠豆瓣省略。其他就比較簡單了。 :)
