Emotions? No. There's always a question of "why" when I look at photography and only nonsense is being conveyed. Sure, people might find it interesting, but there is no "why", so there is no emotion attached.

many elements are used to evoke emotion in photography. for example, shapes. see the intro for more info 👍

@@MangoStreet I think you're missing the point. Shapes DO NOT evoke emotion. Draw a circle or a square on a piece of paper. There is no emotion in those shapes. It's the same way that if you took a Polaroid picture of a wall a centimeter away, the picture does not envoke emotion, although pictures can evoke emotion. There has to be a "why". Why does a shape play a role in the story telling or message. So you asked if these shapes in your shoots evoked emotion and the answer is no. It's abstract poses from models contouring their body around a shape. It's as simple and shallow as that.

@@dawgyv72 we understand how to tell stories through photos. we’ve made a lot of videos about that (like this one, for example: kzbin.info/www/bejne/q2iTZXuni995f5osi=fpLLt6nMitMjUaQB). there are a lot of elements that *subconsciously* shape the way viewers see your photos. color is a big one. we’ve done a few videos about that. lighting is another big one. we have many videos on that as well. here, we’re highlighting shapes, but we are also using lighting and color here as well. it, along with the actual emotions of your subjects all work together to elicit emotion from a viewer. if i can find you a link to a video we made that explains that more clearly, i’ll add it here.
