I remember visiting Korea in 1983. Back then there was no internet. When I came back to America it felt like I knew a secret. Korean culture was almost never publicized in the media. I never bothered to tell anyone about street food because I didn’t think outsiders were interested. Things have drastically changed now.

I watched this vlog knowing that I’ll crave Korean street foods (again) but well, we love that anyways! My favorite food (to try) is definitely the marshmallow ice cream!! There are plenty of good quality street food markets here in England (We've had them here since about the 11th century). The street food market is now worth an estimated £1.2 BILLION in the UK. A quick Google search will tell you your nearest one.

This was my local market when I lived in Korea five years ago. I went to that kkalguksu place a lot and it was so GOOD. You should go back to Mangwondong for the cafes and chill vibes. My fave coffee shop was 'small coffee' and it was across the street from a bomb, little restaurant that did a new menu every day. I also loved a taxi driver restaurant down there and the famous buddaejiggae shop.
