I used to live in northern California where it never snows at low elevations and even on mountains aside from Sierra Nevada, it never snows more than once a year, and the snow never makes it through a whole day. Snow is something I missed out on there.

Well, NY generally has just a couple of snowy days per year so is not a huge deal like other cities like Quebec or Minneapolis where snow lasts for months and becomes a real trouble for daily life.

An interesting walk through the streets. I often did this on vacation in Berlin, was never in New York. You can see the changes of recent years: rental bicycles, electric scooters. Loading stations ?wireless. A narrowness in streets like in Europe. Bollard. At least 4 times Mac Donalds. Difference: Many police cars around Rockefeller and chapel. Very small trees. Long trucks. Lots of security guards in front of the shops. Many canopies supported against the snow load.

Usually in midtown where it’s more busy snow seems to melt faster or be removed faster. In the less busy parts of the city, snow remains accumulated and can look more beautiful

This is ‘awesome’ really feels like you are ‘there’ I subscribed, and ‘thank-you’ for keeping it ‘as-is’ no editing shots, and no ambient mood music, just a plain and simple stroll through the streets….excellent stuff (from Minnesota, where ‘snow’ lives). So I know you will be cold, do yourself a favor and get some Steiger Mukluks you will never look-back, and have warm and toasty feet on your walks.
