For the last question, wouldn’t it be answer choice D. Not enough info to determine which is greater? If you alternate between who receives a higher raise percentage the yearly raise difference will also alternate. So if you give Greta a larger % raise and Annika, a smaller, despite their income, Greta will have a larger raise amount. This relationship is constant and therefore, we do not have enough information to determine who actually has a larger raise.

for question 4 it is only mentioned x and y are positive that means it can be equal ,x>y, y>x so quantities greater cannot be determined

Hi, Athrva! x and y represent the % increase, and you're right that we can't determine which % increase is greater. But, the Quantities represent the dollar amount increase, which we can determine to be the same. If you pick numbers for x and y, then solve for the dollar amount increase, and you'll see that it's the same!

Not that they are talking about percentage change not the actual money after the raise. Which ever way you put the values you will have to subtract the original to see the change which is the same.
