Condemned is kinda disturbing, but it's not controversial like Manhunt. Kane and Lynch 2 is violent, but I wouldn't say it's disturbing or controversial. Postal 1 definitely checks both boxes. As for Haunting Grounds, never played it.

Brilliant video. Manhunt was my first proper gaming experience. You perfectly portrayed the fear when having to run away. It got so intense I had to pass the controller. This, the punisher, the suffering, scarface, and manhunt2 on blinking wii are some good times. Time to unpack the games and consoles.

Honestly respect from me for not moral flagging everything in this comic, I think this is the second video of yours Ive seen and Ive gotta say I like it. fun facts about the series btw from a long time fan of the comic: 1. there will never be a live action adaption because of how expensive and dark the material is. 2. Badlands has different writers of different qualities, some being so garbage you'll be able to tell some from others, and you'll start to notice which of your favorite writers wrote which comics, this is by seeing their writing styles, some are more 'fantasy' focused and others being a strangely moral tale (My favorites would have to be "the biker and the hippie" and the one with the history student. 3.This comic, contradictory to popular belief, is actually based on zombies as a genre, and while it plays with "humans being the bad guys" it focuses more so on the horror of an intelligent, self destructive enemy that embodies the most hedonistic, and cruel things a mind can imagine (though later it is shown that some crossed can overcome these instinct to achieve a goal, it's a really good change up) 4. Avatar press was founded to help publish crossed, and comics publisher would feel iffy about publishing (as far as I remember, though if you want some good comic recommendations, I recommend "Kev" anthology and "Absolution" favorite two non-garth ennis stories from avatar press if you want a more hopeful story to help you forget the things you witnessed in Crossed)

The main difference between James E. Cache and DoomSalyer is that one glory kills hellspawn demons, and the other gory kills Homo Sapiens(?). Of course, the two games are totally different, but it's the violence and brutality that the the two are most famous for. Imagine a game where you can murderize Doom 2016 / Eternal style, but the enemies are not some aliens or monsters, but street gangsters, cops, swat teams, IRS government agents and other "human" beings.
