MANIAC In Germany - First Time in Berlin, Airport Express Train 🇩🇪

I go to Germany for the first time. Arriving at the Berlin airport, I figure out how to buy a ticket for the airport express train (FEX) that goes right to Berlin Central Station (Hauptbahnhof), then make my way to the Hilton Berlin. Stay tuned for more from Germany!

Truly, a real pleasure to see you back here once again! I feel your pain with the cancelled flight and long hours of travel. Been there done that myself. I’ve never been to Germany so I am of no use for suggestions. All that comes to mind at the moment is Brandenburg Gate, what’s left of the Berlin Wall, the industrial rock band Rammstein, and drink beer! I will be anxiously awaiting for your videos from Berlin! Ive been to Berlin a few times now and i always chose a hotel near to public transport connections as the trains/trams/buses are so cheap and frequent

Been there, done that. If it's your first time navigating to Berlin, through Brandenberg airport via FEX and you're jetlagged, it is no fun, as you know.

@@ManiacsWorld Yeah. I went through Frankfort from Philly and that was a nightmare. Then figuring out the FEX tickets at BER was annoying as you found out, then finding my way out of DBH was the cherry on top. Fortunately I was staying across from the Cube and I hit the bed hard when I finally got into the room. Have fun traveling, it's a bear but worth it.

@@ernietech2256 Man did I ever hit the bed hard that first night! The FEX ticket issue was tricky but mostly because the first machine I went, as you can see in the vid, was malfunctioning and registered a double press each time I touched the screen. It took me a bit to figure that out which is why I was so confused at first haha! All worth it in the end. Really appreciate the comments thanks!

Hi. How long did it take you to get from the airport to the city centre?

So the airport express train took around 30 minutes to get to Berlin central station, then I took a taxi about 15 minutes to my hotel as seen in the video.
