You know what I don't want to sound weird but Nick is so much better at keeping on topic and remembering what he is saying this episode. I know viewers tend to look at people under the microscope too much but I really feel like you can see he is in a clearer mind state than we have ever seen him in. I'm proud of the man.

Yo maniac. One of the main causes of anxiety is thinking about bad shit happening in the future. Literally stop doing that and you’ll feel better. I suffer from anxiety and I just catch myself thinking about bills and shit. I have to force my mind to ignore it and think about a good memory I have. Helps every time.
@jesuscarrillo88903 жыл бұрын
What I hate about anxiety is the physical symptoms, they get so annoying and cause me to think negative thoughts. I am getting better at ignoring them though. The dizziness and chest pain/ heart palpitations is what sucks the most IMO
@xOriginalFlux3 жыл бұрын
What Nick is talking about is all mindset… You can release endorphins by working out or even just hearing about good news.. Example: Someone in your family has cancer for many months/years, you see them struggling and you get all depressed, days go by and one day you get a call that they beat cancer, your mindset instantly changes and you feel happy and relieved, this is an extreme example, but that’s all it is.. You gotta be willing to be happy no matter who you are, gotta always have a positive outlook in things because even when everything is negative you can find something positive.. Your mind is an incredible thing. Just work on your mindset and you’ll be at peace. Love how open y’all are! Keep up the work Hitch & Nick, keep it up man, you’re on the right path, and I know great things will come for both of y’all! Cheers

I’ve had a pretty shitty 21’, sadly. 18’ is when I graduated though I had an alright year… life’s been a ride this year more than ever and all I’ve tried to do is keep my head held high but it’s hard… don’t mind me I’m just vibing with the podcast. I’ve needed a lot of uplifting and comfort videos as of late and these have always been warming. Take care everyone stay safe and you are always loved or appreciated by someone. ❤️

The way you talk about the anxiousness etc sounds like you're catastrophizing - might not be a bad thing to go to therapy just to talk through those feelings and learn some mindfulness techniques to combat it :). You got this, Nick!

You know it’s a good day when a new Flycast episode drops 🔥 I’ve gotten really into Breaking Benjamin in the last 6 months or so, I knew their more popular songs (like Diary of Jane, Blow Me Away, etc) but ended up just making a playlist with pretty much their entire discography. Albums of theirs I really like are Dear Agony, Dark Before Dawn, and Ember. I really like Aurora too, but that’s mostly a compilation of acoustic versions of songs from other albums

Nick I can relate to you. Been sober for 3.5 years now and always have anxiety. Therapy helped me a bit (went for 5 years). It helps you realize the thoughts aren’t real and it’s your head just fucking with you. Also, not to push medication, but recently Buspar has been very helpful for me. Keep fighting, it’s worth it

Niac get therapy or something to help with your thoughts, shit, stick to the Flycast schedule you guys talked about I bet that will help immensely. Hitch - "You're the missing piece" This should put you in a better place too. Niac is a mate, you guys have so much of the magic sauce that makes for great friends and inspire each other.
