This is so relatable for me! I’ve also grown out my grey hair but still want to have fun! I’m trying to figure out how my grey hair with react and fade with a semi permanent colour because it’s been such a faff to finally get to grey I don’t want to fuck it up!!

I really like how it turned out. My hair is still mostly dark brown with a lot of individual gray strands all over, mostly in front. I want to dye a streak near the front but wasn't sure how to go about it. Watching your video makes me want to try the Manic Panic blue all over to enhance the silver in my hair! 😊

Absolutely love this color. But yes it falls out as fast as it comes in. I used steel grey diluted with pastel white and it was perfect for my daughter wedding with my blue glasses and steel grey dress with sequined blue shoes.

It gradually faded away between 3 to 4 weeks. I wash my hair three times a week. I did like it better after the first week. I am going to try other colors and have some fun.

Check out Monique Parent's videos on grey hair transformation if you haven't already😊I found once grey I get bored and step it up a notch. It's fun. When I make a change I don't care for, Sally's has a little envelope by ION I believe called color remove. It works like a charm!! I'm sure it would mellow out your new toner quite nicely if you're still unsure. Good luck and have fun😊

Yes I have done the ultra violet from manic panic. It does leave lots of color but fads out also in a few weeks. Thank you for the wonderful compliment. Hope your transition goes well.

Carolyn Gaylord there’s a virgin snow toner from manic Panic and I like it a lot. I just got the blue steel today since it was buy one get one free at Ulta . But I really like your hair, it’s pretty and subtle.

In my hairdressing days wede do this colour just with a colour setting lotion....antracite.

I have white hair at the front and it did not make any difference when I used the blue steel manic panic, I would not purchase it again, I left it on for 30 minutes and the difference was about the same as what yours was when you left it on longer. I did use a purple conditioner and left on for 5 - 10 minutes before rinsing with cold water. I find the schwarzkopf Igora silver spray better which I left on for the same amount of time

Not supposed to shampoo out the dye. Just wash out with only water.

It lasted about three weeks until all color was gone. I wash my hair three times a week. Either with a cowash or sulfate free shampoo.

I'd like to know if the blue/purple washed out of the white parts of your hair. I just did a silver demi toner and got an unexpected purple on the nautrally white hair around my face. Where I put it on bleached hair it looks great, but not thrilled with the purple. Worried my hair is stained now! Want to keep the bleached part of my hair silver while I grow out the gray.

It was washed out within a few weeks. It didn't stain my grey hair.

Tiitanium (a demi color) didn't fade for quite a while probably bc my hair was quite porous

Manic panic ruined my hair it wouldn't wash out I now have a demarcation line.....the best one for me is violet skies by bleach it washes out
