I'm tired of being tired I will forever associate this era of Manic Street Preachers with the Highlands of Scotland I went to Fort William with family in the year 1999 and was listening to the two main hit singles from this album at the time Many years later in 2015 I saw the Manics perform live at Belladrum Festival near Beauly in the Inverness area

i used to listen to this maybe 20 years ago a lot. i never thought id feel any different all this time later i do. its better. but i still feel music with every fibre but its now almost like a fond old memory. i cant explain

There is just a worldly riff here at the opening that has never got the credit it deserves. I’ve seen KZbin vids on it but nothing sounds the same - great riff snuck in under the radar of hall of fames. Great album.
