If Richey played rhythm guitar on the recording of this, he played it really well, and made sure he was heard lol. Seems he really started to get to grips with his guitar playing before he went missing, he was never really bad anyway but got better and better. Shame he went away
@K31JAN3 жыл бұрын
I thought he was pretty good, in 1993. That was when he was really heard, although in fairness to the critics of them performances from just watching, the sound mixer messed up and had James lower. He was steady, the only real thing I had to say is he didn't barre properly and didn't mute or damp when it was required, although I would say in terms of what is associated with the punk rock style of playing, he'd have done well there. 1993 playing was suitable, he just needed to be turned down for James riffs.

Can anyone confirm if the right panned chords beginning at 3:30 are the alleged recorded power chords Richey provided for this track? Something tells me it is (one of his alleged few recordings) because of the easter-egg quality to it in the track at the end (how you can fully hear it as a distinct quality to the song in one whole panned side, and how it slowly fuses with the rest of the track at the end.
@manephewlenny64012 жыл бұрын

It’s the rhythm guitar that follows the lead at 3:37 until 4:04. I had the album on cassette back in 1997 and had a hifi system with one broken speaker and it was the only guitar I ever heard from the outro as both parts seemed to be panned to different speakers.
