Hi! We're a training company based in central Scotland with some on-line course content too (hence the training videos) :)

Thank you! The best advice is to ask any friends or family to let you practice all style of painting on them so that you become familiar with different nail shapes and lengths. Keep practicing with light, dark and French styles as often as possible so that you become quicker and are able to apply the colour without flooding the cuticle, getting any on the skin etc (although you can rectify it!). You can also buy nail practice hands on-line (for a few pounds on ebay). Good luck :)

I would be a model for free just to receive the treatments haha. I love watching your video's. I've only ever had 1 manicure and pedicure and it was in Turkey because it was so cheap. But I find in Glasgow its really expensive!

I'll remember your offer lol! I agree it can be expensive but there are definitely some more reasonable places out there if you look for them plus you can model for the students training in colleges and get a full treatment for a massively discounted price. Worth a look!

Homespa Beauty Can I use Acetone to cleanse the Nail plate before applying Nail Polish?
@homespabeauty10 жыл бұрын
Brooke Katz Hi Brooke, Acetone can be quite drying so a less harsh nail polish remover would do the trick too :)

is it always necessary to use a nail bowl to soak the hand during a manicure? can it be skipped?
@homespabeauty7 жыл бұрын
Some express manicures skip the soaking (and the related elements that require it) but as many products rely on the nails, skin and cuticles being softened before use it's a good idea to check the manufacturer's instructions beforehand. You wouldn't want to tackle cuticle work without softening and preparing them or you could cause discomfort and damage :)

What exactly are the benefits of doing pedicure and medicure. Does it like a normal massage relaxes a person?
@homespabeauty Жыл бұрын
It’s more about keeping the hands, feet & nails tidy, healthy & maintained. Some find it relaxing, others do it as they feel it’s essential 👍🏻

How long should a full manicure procedure take?
@homespabeauty7 жыл бұрын
Industry timings are around 45 minutes to an hour, up to 1 hr 30 if it's a luxury manicure :)
