I suspect that you came up on my timeline because the universe was sending a message to me about a decision that I had made today after panicking about a payment that's due. It is not easy to let go when it's something that's really wanted or needed. I have manifested many times very easily when I've had a thought wish, and it has left my mind. All that you have spoken in terms of having to pay a bill is what I am going through right now and was panicking, but today I came to a realisation that I must trust. I received some thoughts on how to manage the upcoming debt, and I felt much better.

The apostle Paul said he had learned how to be content in all things. This is a huge key! Content..being in a place of calm..not letting anything bother you. Now there are definitely degrees of discomfort. Knowing; not just believing, that there is an end to a given situation. I had Norovirus a few months ago. Hellish experience. All dignity goes down the drain when the body revolts against you. But I listened....and I prayed for all who suffer painful things. Does it matter? I dont know. I knew it would end sometime. And then when healing comes, Im even more grateful for the health. For the break from pain, toilets, showers, liquids, family support, the washing machine, and even the stupid TV! At any time, all we have is NOW. This moment.

Really well put Trevor! I have manifested quite extraordinary things in my life, mostly “by accident” and now I want to do it more consciously, so I’ve started to try and reverse engineer the process. Having studied many books and videos on manifesting and then reflected on my own experiences, I think there is a lot of misinformation out there. You however have hit the nail on the head very succinctly and efficiently.

Thank you very much. I have been working with experiencing life differentlyl for years. Most recently, I was watching a required lecture for my profession. I observed my reactions to the professor, some of which were negative. I needed to break up the lecture (on my computer) into segments, so I took a break from Part 1. A few days went by, and I realized I hadn't absorbed anything and so I revisited Part 1. MY EXPERIENCE WAS COMPLETELY DIFFERENT!!!! I had a positive reaction to the profession and comprehended his teachings in a completely different way!!! I had compassion for the personality quirks that had annoyed me and genuinely enjoyed the lecture. I laughed with glee, just as I am doing now after watching your video, because this way of being is so much more FUN!!!! I am trying to apply this principle to some physical problems, and am confident I will be led in the right direction (inward?) Thank you again.

Hi Trevor, I bear 90% of the things you say, but the real danger (for those who are continuously in search of a deeper truth linking physical and mental reality) is to believe that the law of attraction mindset only works on a physical level, binding itself to the cause and effect logic. It indeed works on a very huge leve, which we cannot fully know, although growing in the consciusness of it, and interacts with the foundation of the visible matter in a powerful way we can't imagine.

Yes, it's extremely hard - I remember the feeling well. But can you honestly say that worrying about it has brought you the money? Or anything other than more stress? Worry feels like it's a safety net, but in fact all you're doing is going over the same old loop of thinking time after time. I can't promise you the money, but I can promise that when/if you let go, something will occur to you. It may not be obvious or logical, but it's a step you won't have taken. Take it. When you do, the next one will reveal itself. One. Step. At. A. Time. What have you got to lose by trying it?

My result is i can think properly, and am happier doing it. And I'm getting a hot slice 🍕 where I wouldn't have got to have before we listened to you. Thank you so much for sharing this! Manifesting has nothing to do with the Law of Attraction. Its called the Law of Assumption for a reason. Assumption has more to do with how you assume than what you attract. Moreso how assuming is pretending. Furthermore, everyone assumes thousands of times a day. Yes, we operate in grey areas, not black and white. We manifest all day mainly with our mostly dismissed-as -unimportant subtle, nearly silent coping-comparing-fearful thought processes.

I like your teachings But the truth is that the subconscious mind is capable of miracles Manifestation is not just a shift in your perception and then you will see opportunities People have literally manifest it money, love and healing The power of the subconscious mind is our divine power The problem is the logical mind interferes and doubts
@TrevorEmdonКүн бұрын
I think we're on the same page, yet it reads like you're disagreeing with me. We use slightly different terminology, but there is a source of wisdom that is capable of creating what many would class as "miracles," yes. The "logical mind" - which I would call our conscious awareness does interfere and doubt, I agree with that too. But the "miracle" must come to awareness - our normal waking consciousness - or we cannot act on it or seize the opportunity. So we need to silence - even for a moment - the conscious mind, (aka "the logical mind"). Otherwise we can't hear these "divine whispers." I'm pretty sure we're saying the same thing in slightly different ways. :-)

What about the people who HAVE influenced external events, like the woman who won EVERY contest she entered, winning prizes from A to Z - Including a new fully furnished house!???
@TrevorEmdonКүн бұрын
What about them? If you can find a way to reproduce what they have done that works every time, I'm happy to listen. That woman was called Helen Hadsell and there's nothing I've ever heard or read about her that couldn't just as easily be interpreted as her having a great talent for winning contests. You could not say with any scientific backing that she "influenced external events." All those prizes were on offer anyway - she just got really good at winning them. She won most contests between 1949 and 1964 and I know a great deal has been said and written about her and her mind control methods, including by Helen herself. Have you heard of a single person who's been able to follow her method and do as she did? Look, if you want to try influencing the external world, go ahead. Please keep me posted because if you succeed, I definitely want to learn from you. But personally, I don't care about winning contests. I want to be happy, healthy, do what I love and have enough money and personal freedom to live as I choose for as long as I am able. So far, that plan is working very well. I have no envy for Helen Hadsell and, frankly, it's a great relief not to have to try to get the universe to manoeuvre things around in my favour. It just flows - and yes, it's easy. :-)

@TrevorEmdonКүн бұрын
Well, first let me say I wish you well and also thank you for sharing. I want to be clear that physical illness is real, so in no way is what I'm about to say intended to detract from that. However, the suffering we can experience when we're unwell often stems from the thinking we attach to it (e.g., fear, frustration, or hopelessness). By recognising that these feelings come from thought, not the condition itself, you may experience relief and clarity. This understanding doesn't necessarily cure the issue but can help to alleviate the mental suffering around it. We have an innate well-being that is untouched by external circumstances, including health problems. While the body may experience illness, the deeper essence of who we are remains whole and at peace. By accessing this deeper sense of well-being, you can approach health challenges with more resilience, reducing stress and potentially supporting your body's natural healing processes. I know that's a lot to take in and it's a vast subject, but I hope it helps.

@PhyllisJean162 күн бұрын
Hi, I think what’s he’s describing is just “letting go” of what you want. That does work, you’ve been doing all this anxious wanting and pleading the universe to give you something, then you totally give up, and that’s when a shift happens. I’ve found that works and also doing something that absolutely gives you the feeling of having what you want. They’re two very different ways of manifesting. And they can happen unintentionally, the first way just bcos you’ve decided on a change of mind and given up wanting. Oh yes! That’s bcos if you’ve stopped the wanting, you must now have what you wanted. I’ve often thought how I’ve wanted something I could buy but not quite got the money. Then I’m able to buy it and when I do, I stop thinking about it in that hankering way, and I’m not thinking about it 24/7 and I’ve thought, ‘oh it seems like I don’t want it anymore, but I really do, it’s just that all consuming pestering want has changed to knowing it’s there and I’ve relaxed into enjoying it. Hope this helps.

Yeah, I think he claims to teach the law of attraction but doesn’t actually believe in it himself.
@tree87792 күн бұрын
Letting go of the desperate wanting is the secret to getting what you truly want. When you let go and try to relax is when you see clear solutions and opportunities and you realise what you want has been right under your nose all along
@TrevorEmdon2 күн бұрын
Hahahaha. That's a huge oversimplification. If the law of attraction is just a bunch of techniques that are supposed to produce the things and circumstances we desire, then, on the whole, I don't think they work in the way they are generally described. However, there are truths in the basic LOA teachings. We do create our EXPERIENCE with our thoughts - and for each one of us, that's the same as "reality." It's just that "reality" has been mistakenly misinterpreted to mean "things" and "people." But all we want is to be happy, right? When I dropped the techniques and focussed on creating different experiences for myself, happiness, love and financial success all showed up effortlessly. So, you pays your money and takes your choice, as the saying goes. If you want to keep trying the techniques, e.g. visualising, vision boards, affirmations etc., good luck. I know a lot of people say they have worked for them, and occasionally, they may have worked for me. But not every time. Not even close. This way works every time. I don't mind if you want to call it something else, but we definitely DO have influence over the way our lives roll. And it's easy. Not a single technique to learn.
@TrevorEmdon2 күн бұрын
There's not much point in me saying what everyone else is saying, is there? I'm not talking about changing your mind in the sense of "Oh, I'll have strawberry ice cream not the vanilla," kind of way. You can shift your perception - the whole world looks - and IS - different when you do, and it can happen in an instant. The late, great Dr. Wayne Dyer use to say, "Change the way you look at things, and the things you look at will change." He was spot on - and it has to be in that order. Don't dismiss "changing your mind." It does - and will - change your reality, which is the result you're after, isn't it?

Hey! Please try the law of ASSUMPTION. You have come to the same conclusion that Neville Goddard, the "father" of this l"aw" that parallels L.of Att. which is so much a pain for so many...You are correct in everything you say! Cheers!

Thanks. Yes, I'm well aware of Neville's work, although I found my own way to these truths. Anyone can because they're just the truth.

I never understood trying to convince someone to do something else when what they're doing is working. Especially when you can admit it's working for them. That's confuses me.

@@mamaafrika87As it should, rightfully so. And Neville wasn’t the father of this work as he was a pupil of Abdullah.

It seems there is a point that was missed and that is action and leaps of faith. If this is true, which it seems to be, we should be able to quit a job we hate and have faith that a solution will occur.
@TrevorEmdon2 күн бұрын
I've done it. I did indeed quit a job I was loathing without a "safety net" back in 2013, and it worked beautifully well, (although I was scared witless at the time!). I also proposed to my incredible wife the day after I met her in 2006 and it turned out to be the best decision I ever made in my life. But I don't put those ideas into my videos because a) it could cause people to take reckless actions (for which I'd be blamed), and b) I can't teach it in a way that I can be confident will always work for everyone in every scenario. With this concept however, as well as others I put into my videos, I have that certainty.

@@TrevorEmdon i see thanks for an in-depth clarification. its appreciated. I know thats the answer to everything and i believe when the bible talks about faith this is what it is referring to. Have faith that the Lord/God/The Universe/ The Tao/ The One will bless you along the way

@@DonTrump-sv1si Yes, I'm sure that's what The Bible means by faith too. It's within us, that's the key point to understand.

all you're doing is mixing a bit of don't try to wish for something big and mix it with textbook "try not to force it' LoA -no offence but if you're desire is too small you won't be able to tell if its based on LoA or coincidence, the old 'manifest anything in 5 minutes or 24hrs "duh i want money" and your job gets you money, if you do that people will risk thinking its a scam

This sounds like what I've learnt from Buddhism, but okay.
@TrevorEmdon2 күн бұрын
Like that's a bad thing? Buddhism, Taoism, Vedanta, Zen, Three Principles (and many more) ... they all point to these truths because they are always true. I'm more than sure that what I teach has been garnered from multiple wise sources, including touches of Buddhism. But it's also my own journey. Reading about them didn't make them true for me. Experiencing them did - and sometimes the journey to get there was tough and painful. That's not Buddhism - that's me. Hope you're okay with that! :-)

Who else's opinion should I have? Yours, perhaps? I'm pretty sure a work of art isn't scientific either, but that takes nothing away from its beauty! I never made a single scientific claim in this video, so that's a strange reason to dismiss it. My opinions are based on my experience, trainings, (in psychotherapy as well as metaphysics), and my own thinking, which I don't believe qualifies my views as "ultra silly." But hey, you took the time to share your view, so thanks for that.
