(Ching) Word on my back, I'm tryna fashion a statement I ain't no bastard, we the master of the path that we blazin', you dig? (What?) (On God, now) [Verse 3: Tyler, The Creator & DJ Drama] I came a long way from my past, nigga, it's obvious V12 engine, I'm fishtailin' on some sloppy shit (Skrrt) Internet bringin' old lyrics up, like I hide the shit What's your address, I could probably send you a copy, bitch I was canceled before canceled was with Twitter fingers (Haha) Protestin' outside my shows, I gave them the middle finger (Fuck 'em) I was a teener, tweetin' Selena crazy shit Didn't wanna offend her, apologize when I seen her Back when I was tryna fuck Bieber, Just-in I say with my chest out, you say with your chest in, nigga (Say it with your chest, nigga) Black bodies hanging from trees, I cannot make sense of this (Uh) Hit some protest up, retweeted positive messages (Uh) Donated some funds then I went and copped me a necklace I'm probably a coon, and your standard's based on this evidence Am I doin' enough or not doin' enough? I'm tryna run with the baton, but see, my shoe's in the mud I feel like anything I say, dawg, I'm screwin' shit up (Sorry) So I just tell these black babies, they should do what they want Freedom, need 'em, my niggas, seen 'em Free 'em, don't fuck with the law like, damn, Gina So calm the fuck down before we duck rounds And fireballs that make your family have to duck the fuck down We frontline, we got the mazel tov that we can chuck now (Woo) 'Cause anytime we movin' up, it's like a "What the fuck now?" Love the commentary here, vouching on BLM's importance while calling out all the performative activists who unfortunately make the movement look like a joke. I appreciate this movement commentary man, and such a gorgeous flow too Edit: I can already see where this comment thread is going based off comments I'm seeing so I'm going to state my position. It's loud minority situations and fake supporters which racists constantly use to pin BLM as a "joke" or "bad thing". Things that have happened around the movement have made an overarching huge impact, and the situations where victims faces are being plastered to the extent of clout are individual cases which are absolutely putrid and don't define the fight. To downplay a near decade old racial rights movement to shitty performative Twitter activist is ignorant and horrid. Black Lives Matter. There should never be a "but" or "what if".

I like the beginning. Pointing out how white folks will force black people to speak about issues that affect them only because they want to appear like saviors making a change, when in reality the only reason why they’re caring about social issues affecting black people is because it’ll boost their persona. Edit: not to mention that white people will only associate a certain group of people with the issues that they face, so when they force a certain group of people to talk about an issue that affects that group (for example: black people and police brutality), they’re showing that they only believe they can be associated with their problems and white people with the solutions Also this isn’t me saying I don’t support blm and I don’t think you should show support cuz I’m very supportive of it lol don’t get it confused I’ve just noticed how white people used it as a chance to be performative

This album is THE BEST ending to Tyler's discography. Every song feels like a vibe associated to one of his album, so I completely agree with the people who says the album feels like a victory lap. Because IT IS. And the way there's a flow for every song like where every album had a different flow. So, this is a VICTORY LAP, ladies and gentleman.

Damn! I just discovered him today and started binging the albums. When I got onto this track I had to stop my reading and replayed the song at least five times plus searching for the lyrics online! It is such a banger, especially the begging at the beginning got me to laugh so much I'm dead 💀It's so well done🤣. Yeah he's a real one

tyler really hit important topics on this song and I loved it such as calling out performative activism, colonization, and most importantly: ORGANIZING!

It’s really cool that Tyler still collabs with Domo even tho his career hasn’t blown up yet. Awkward Groove & Red Corolla alone should put him on the same level but mainstream tastes don’t work that way
