Manifold Valley & Milldale - Ep 05

My first trip of the year to the Peak District sees me set off from a frosty Hartington on a mission to explore the Manifold Valley. After nostalgic stops at Wetton Mill and Thor's Cave, I then take on an arduous and strength-sapping climb out of the valley. Quickly desending into the adjacent valley of the River Dove, I take a well-earned rest in the picturesque riverside hamlet of Milldale. But can I then get my aching legs to propel me up a second mammoth climb to the Tissington Trail, and back to Hartington for a well-earned cup of tea?
