José Rizal was a polyglot who mastered 22 languages including Catalan, Chinese, English, French, German, Greek, Hebrew, Japanese, Latin, Malay, Sanskrit, Spanish, Tagalog, and other Philippine languages.. There were at least nine women linked with Rizal; namely Segunda Katigbak, Leonor Valenzuela, Leonor Rivera, Consuelo Ortiga, O-Sei San, Gertrude Beckette, Nelly Boustead, Suzanne Jacoby and Josephine Bracken. These women might have been beguiled by his intelligence, charm and wit.

In Singapore, I always visit their MOMA and surprise, surprise...there are always a lot of artwork by Filipino artists!! BTW, thank you so much for featuring our museum. I feel that there mot enough Philippine museums which will highlight Phillipine culture. I recommend going to the AYALA MUSEUM in Makati which high;rights Pre-Spanish Filipino arts and cultural items...you's be amazed by goldworks and items on display.

*DJR was an eye doctor & attended University of Santo Thomas. I believe it is the oldest university in Asia. Fernando Amorsolo was born in Paco, Manila which is my residence since 1994. He died in 1972, the year I was born 😢. I wish he had stayed longer and waited for me 😅. I'm talking about art, silly! It would have been an honor to be under his wing. I love to draw realistic portraits but never attended art school. I was stupid. Wish I had. I'm still on the field of art but in a different area. And 2 of my 3 kids are both artists. Our house are full of art stuff/drawing materials and sketch books. My youngest doesn't just draw, he sculpts. So I have transparent bins to preserve and showcase his miniature FNAF works* Love your little guy! He has a funny side 😅
