For me Mark Shelton is a true hero. No matter what, he was just served his muses till the end, never betraying his ideals. True musician, true warrior, true artist. May your spiritual journey be as spectacular, as your heritage, you left in this world!

Without a doubt one of the greatest epics in heavy metal. Mark was a true artist, and shined as bright and hot as he possibly could and left us an incredible, massive body of work that generations to come will enjoy and be moved by. Manilla Road's music is a spark of magic in a mundane world. Thank you for everything, Shark. Rest in Peace.

More than 30 years I was looking for this song ! It was on a audiotape without title given to me by my godfather who has never remembered the name of the band or the song. Finally, I found the audiotape in an old desk at my father's house...and Shazam has instantly found the name. So glad to hear this song again ! A Masterpiece !

That was the hammer of Thor around Shelton's neck. Hard to believe he has been gone now for almost 2 yrs. But he died on stage playing his music in Europe before thousands. He was from Wichita Kansas,

I am here in remembrance of an artistic genius. But also a great human being, whom I have had the pleasure and privilege of meeting twice. Crom, Cthulhu, Odin and all the other ancient gods that you sang of are now blessed with live versions of your riffs.

It was 1985 and it was released on Black Dragon Records. Check Discogs for a copy at a fair price.

mark anderson i know about 1985, the reason i made this comment is because i don't understand why a channel with the name "Manilla Road Official" makes such a mistake as about the year of release...

Manilla Road Official hey Shark, thanks for the answer and hailz from Greece! Ok, now the riddle is solved, because i was seeing 1985 everywhere(metal archives, wikipedia and even the site of the band), so i couldn't understand why the official youtube channel wrote 1984 ;)
