Sir the population comparison might true according to the census of 2011 but now the population of community meitei became minority while compare with the population of kukis excluding the remaining community. You might ask how it is possible? Its the because of external migration from Myanmar as churchandpur is the border district with the Myanmar. In Myanmar you know there is military rule and internal conflict is going since 1948.There is also a reason, why the people of churchandpur allow them to selter there? Because there was a such communal riot between naga and kukis in the year around 1992/1993 at that time kukis suffer more casualties, they think that was because of the lack of human resource and they offer houses and land for the mayanmaris kukis Now Meitei is no more mojor community and only one way to save this community is giving some autonomous some right to protect ourselves
