The problem with manipur is not due to the insuficiency of the security forces, but due to the lack of political will. Besides, the state govt is hand-in-glove with the meitei militant and is openly using them against the tribals in which the centre remains a mute spectator for reasons best known to them. It is hard to imagine how peace could be established under the present govt who the tribals feel is hellbent on eliminating them.
