In my locality there's one Kuki woman married to a Meitei. Mother of two kids. She lives as one of our own. Nobody will harm her. We won't allow it. Same thing in my college, where one Kuki Lady married to a Meitei is now still teaching, though she and her family were initially a little bit shaky. We all love her. She happily continues her job fearlessly here in the Imphal valleyl. Can you imagine this in Kuki areas with Meitei women? I don't think so by the ways they have been behaving so far. For the last one year media seems to be grossly misleading, thanks to the deliberate efforts of the other community to this effect. Well, time will unravel the truth, the false, the fake and what not.

Drug problem indeed exists in manipur and it involves both meiteis and the tribals. Actually, it was the rich meiteis who induce the tribals to cultivate poppy and also funded them.
