Baruch Hashem! I’m so glad I came across this video. I’m planing on spreading Yiddishkeit to my college’s Hillel House I went to prior to entering a Women’s Yeshiva and I was planning on doing this exact talk. I have all my notes, sefarim, worksheets, packets, and diagrams from class. All of the content and no way to organize them. Thank you so much Rabbi. Bezeras Hashem I will help others realize who they really are.

First, I am not Jewish, I do not belong to any religion. Second, I am so glad that I came across your channel. I completely agree with this. I DO believe in God, yet Ive always seen the problems in religion. It always becomes diluted by agendas that completely bastardize the intended path. From what I’ve seen Judaism makes sense. It just works. Direct to source. Authentic. A way of life, not a religion. It’s enlightening and very refreshing. Thank you for the channel.

Thank you for the excellent (as always) explanation. I believe the best analogy would be much like being an American (or any other citizen). If you were born an American, no one can revoke your citizenship, whereas if you BECAME an American, the citizenship can be stripped away from you under certain circumstances.

Thank you Rabbi for this video! I'm torn between wanting to be Jewish, and the realization that this is a rather difficult path to follow. I know it can't happen in a day or in a week. I just feel like crying thinking that perhaps Adonai would be happier if I were Jewish and living a Jewish life. I also think that my ancestors (the people in my family that came and left before me) were Jewish, but my grandparents and my parents lived a Christian life and raised me as such. But I really feel that's NOT me... I'm also too much of a chicken to go talk to a Rabbi.. please send some (emotional) help.

You might find it comforting to hear that according to the Jewish teachings, someone who is not a Jew is not obligated to become Jewish in order to fulfill the will of G-d. One must only follow the 7 Noahide Laws, and follow them with the knowledge that they are correct as a result of G-d's having commanded them, and they are considered to be doing their role in His universe. Look up the Noahide Laws for more, and make sure that it is an authentic Jewish website.

@@ysiegel Yes, I know that, as you're not the first one to tell me this ;) I started reading more on Judaism last year, and EVERYONE says that as a Gentile I only need to follow the Noahide Laws. Yet, I feel it's not enough. Thank you for your kind reply.

@@thetruth3322 Thank you for your time and advice. I will have to pass. Adonai is our Father in Heaven, The maker of Heaven and Earth, and my only god. I think Judaism is the correct path to follow for those who really want to know Him, and want Him in their lives. If i have to live as a Gentile, I rather be an Orthodox Christian (as I was raised) [and (try) keep the Shabbat] rather than switching to some other belief system that is alien to me. sorry.

@@sapphirecamui6447 Listen to your Soul and your Heart. "I feel it's not enough" says it all. Don't put obstacles in your way....or say it is difficult.....is it difficult to be a parent and give birth to a child....of course, but does that stop people. The truth of your being cannot be denied. Just know that there are many teachers, many Rabbis with many different perspectives. Find the one that is right for you, that you resonate with. From what you said, you may already have Jewish ancestry. Makes sense according to what you wrote. Can you pursue that with geneology? In the end it matters some but not alot. Listen to yourself. I hear a longing.

@Ryan Cutforth that's actually one of the biggest lies there are... because while Allah does mean g-d Allah and the g-d of the Torah are very different and in many occasions opposite... Allah for example considers jews as the worst of creatures while the g-d of the Torah assigns them with the task of being an example to all nations. Allah commands muslims to strive to convert people by even by sword if necessary while the g-d of the Torah doesn't want to convert anyone but rather picks a group of people to be an educational example to all through their way of life and historical events involving them. there are many more differences...

I am sorry but I do not agree that only the Jewish people have a godly soul. That is completely untrue. Every soul is godly and I think it is just wrong and also dangerous to think that way. The differenve between a Jew and a non Jew is only that the Jew has also a Jewish body means he is Jew in all the worlds, means also in that lowest material world. But the important thing is not whether you have a Jewish body or not but whether you are connected with your godly soul. And if you are connected with your godly soul and you serve God you are in that moment Jewish no matter whether you have a Jewish body or not. That is the truth. Every human being has a godly soul and that soul is the Jewish part of the human being. Think about!

@umetnostduha18093 жыл бұрын
Your teachings are incredible, Rabbi. All of them. But this story about two souls vs. one soul of others is very strange. Kabbalah contemplates incarnation of souls, and every soul has thousands of incarnations, it is hard to believe that Jews are the incarnations of the soul every time as only the Jew. Especially if we know that from the part of the Godly soul level time is very different and it can be very useful to incarnate and experience other bodily viacles in different traditions, and also in different time/space realities .. It can be just the difference in the teachings. There are some teachings very similar to Judaism that come from some higher intelligences from higher spheres, like Ra Material, Bashar and Seth teachings... Antisemitism might be explained by metaphisical laws that say everything we feel and think manifest in material world. So if I think and feel that I am special in a way, or different from the others, it will manifest as all the others seeing me different from them, and if they are not smart enough thay might hate me for that difference. The are also some political, occult and secret agendas coming out in the modernd days, that are not helping in this sense, as well...
