I loved my xmaxx but the tires and diff gears were eating me alive on repairs. Kraton seems to hold together better and when something breaks its not 17 screws to even get to it.(xmaxx center diff)

X-maxx is a lot easier to work on in every aspect.... What are you taking about lol🤦‍♂️

@jd111949 i kept having center diff problems. Untill i replaced the whole unit. Its around 17 screws to get to it on xmax. On the kraton its 6. The kraton can be fiddly to get everything back together as o e thing connects to another and it all has to go in just right. So for rear diff and shocks, sure the xmaxx is easier to work on. I had to upgrade steering servo and speed controller on my xmaxx within 10 runs. Tires blew up after 5 runs. It just was not for me. I did run 8s all the time so it was probably my fault.

@@ChrisHirner I have had probably 12 or 13 xmaxx's since they came out and have never had a center diff go even after sending it off 50ft cliffs on to asphalt or at the skate park or towing 4 people in a wagon. I bet you are missing something or not doing something when you put it back together. I have beat them like they were my red headed step child and normally only ever break control arms and stock tires. My kraton has a bent chassis bent shock towers front and rear on the first run and blown the rear shocks second run along with the spoiler broken off. Servo went on the 5th run. I would rather deal with a xmaxx than the kraton any day
