You are very lucky you got to see 3 lion so closeup!!!! We took 4 safaris in Ranthambore dint see 1 tiger and that too it’s not as large as Gir forest!!!! I dint know Gir forest cover these many districts? !!! Junagadh, somnath, amreli, bhavnagar and .... it’s so huge and you got to see 3 lions so closeup!!!! Also thanks for the link of government travel info and I’m feel so happy to know there are guest houses situated inside Gir forest sanctuary!!! Some day will make it!!! Aameen.

I've been to various national parks in North India but it was only in Gir that I first saw so many big cats in one safari. In my single trip we saw 11 lions in three hours.
