My opinion and lots others is they did it to themselves. Wanting tags to be taken away ect.. I’d love to see how many whites have got moose on those areas compared to natives. Ever since Sask has let “Manitoba” First Nations in here it’s been a gong show. Them coming down with trucks and enclosed trailers shooting as many moose as they can find no wonder the populations going down. Yes they have the rights, yes I also have a few First Nations friends and I hear there thoughts. They provide for themselves which is great but those ones coming in 3-4 guys shooting 12 moose and going back is complete horse shit. We use to have big moose down here and big numbers. Now we have little numbers and see very little for mature bull. Soon there will be none because of their “Rights”

Law tries to provide a reasonable framework for 'good' decision-making. "Everybody knows" that it is difficult / not possible to have a ready-made solution to every life contingency. And our human capabilities are well able to meet most life contingencies successfully. The fragile proof is, we're still here. And hope to be.

I trust the native peoples’ perception & judgement of what’s going on in their own familiar & relatively local environment.
