I love the mechanic of the dice of already thrown numbers piling up. If you get a bad bounce you can fuck up by reading the wrong die. Such a simple but ingenious way or upping the stakes further into the game

The first triple die roll for the 6's ended up taking me by surprise as well, Manly wasn't kidding when the heart-pounding thing kept on happening I love when the fusion of adrenaline/gambling/chance is fused with the unease/unsettling nature of horror games (as long as it's not nailbitingly hard)

There's a reason why death game participants are always people without anything to lose and much to gain. Whether it's money, prestige or freedom. It's not like someone hears that there's a Sudden Death Battle Royale going on at the community centre and is like "Oh boy, can't wait to go kill or get killed!"

My immersion is ruined. That dice room is a false die. On a real die, the 1 and 6 are opposites, as are the 2 and 5 and 3 and 4.

This was cool! I was wondering what would happen if you got all three 6's before the other numbers, glad Manly was able to include that. It's easy to grasp what's going on and just the right tension to keep you second-guessing if you really are safe where you're standing with little time to decide.

Cube is a good horror movie, and it deserves recognition. Based on your palate, Manly, I'm surprised to hear you say it's _not_ good. I'd suggest giving it a second chance, or a first to anyone reading this who might be interested. It's about imprisonment, trust, and sanity and it became a cult classic for a reason. YMMV, of course.

This game forgot the most important rule of dice. If you combine a side with its opposite side on a 6 sided dice it is 7. There is no Dice King, God, or Demon here. Just an imposter.

Looks like the strat is to stand in the middle, and if you roll odd, dodge either straight, side, or diagonal, depending on the number (Five is straight, one is side, three is diagonal.)

This is a cool concept, I think it’d work better as a full game where you have to get a certain number to go to another room with different timed traps. just staying in one room will get tedious after a while. Maybe it’s like a saw type thing where you can get to the end and get a “prize”. So like, gambling with a threat of death instead of debt lol.

just start watching, but I think the easiest way of playing this game is to find out the most common safe place to stand based on the facing of number 666 on the ground if the wall doesn't move, obviously. but even if it did move every single through, I think remembering the safe location is better than looking at the wall and then searching.
