Ugh , having to do any thing at night or deal with stuff at night can be a horror story in it self / on its own. It's too easy to be scared at night though. I'm always more impressed with getting scared by some thing or some one during the day / early in the morning.

Ever partake of the novel experience that is a journey on American Greyhound bus? Think of the kind of... "People" that you expect to meet at a bus stop on the not-so-great side of a run-down city, and then put them all together on a practically non-stop bus trip for 12-36 hours. One poorly ventilated bathroom. Crummy ventilation. ...It creates that rare situation where you ABSOLUTELY need to be intoxicated enough to readily ignore your surroundings, but not so much that you're oblivious to them (or be readily obvious that you're intoxicated). It's basically last ditch option for when you need to travel cross-country for the price of shipping something equivalent to your own weight via postage, and the amount of time it takes for the bus to get you there isn't an important factor. You take a 24+ hour trip on the Greyhound bus, and you are GUARANTEED to have a story or two by the end of your trip -especially if you're making stops in major cities after nightfall. Definitely bring a cellphone with an extra power cell, and make sure you LOCK your luggage -to your own leg if need be.

I don't know why, but bus stops always give me weird feelings, but the feeling itself depends on if it has a covered shelter or not. Without the shelter, it feels like you're a lot lonelier than you actually are, but with the shelter there it feels like the shelter is the only thing between you and some awful fate that'll get you right before the bus shows up

Every bus stop should have a bus shelter. And not just for safety reasons. Not having one makes you feel less secure and more vulnerable to your unknown environment when the crazies start roaming the streets at night. Plus, it can provide cover for bad weather too. And yet, the government is so cheap to provide something as basic as that for the people is quite sad.
@enzito_sdf69782 жыл бұрын
here in buenos aires the bus stops on the highway are super creepy... they're basically these tall black sort of shelter things, you have to go up some stairs to get to them, plus the light is almost always dead. i never had anything weird happen to me, maybe some drunk motherfucker shouting but not much else thankfully. they are creepy at night tho, specially on smaller stops where there's no one around. i think the scariest thing though is how bad bus frequencies are. i once waited like 2 hours for ANY bus at all to show up. lol.

Very cool concept to use real time waiting in an unnerving situation as the source of the horror. The execution is obviously veeeeery rough here though, it's too shallow beyond that initial idea and mixing it with multiple endings just means waiting through the same cutscene you've already seen multiple times with no way to speed it up.

I enjoyed this setting, namely the empty dark road in the middle of no where. I think it could've used a street light or something to set the mood lighting, but otherwise good for such a short experience. Both glad and disappointed that there were no jump scares. In my college days, my classes got out at 9:45pm at the earliest, I wouldn't catch my first bus until 10:30 and the second bus after midnight. One was downtown Seattle and the midnight one was an empty transit center. It never scared me in the slightest. Even with no people in sight, the city is so populated that I just don't feel as helpless. But out in the country, on a dark road far enough away from any civilization that it could be that quiet, surrounded by bushes? That would be terrifying. I grew up in places like that before moving to the city. I would NOT be out there by myself.
