I got my first tattoo at 29. I think the designs I have now will suit my personality for most of my life.

Big difference between your first and all the following tattoos. 3 rules that I followed and I told my sons to follow for their first tattoo: 1) Think long and hard and get something that means something to you so that you don’t regret it. 2) get it somewhere where you can hide it if you want to. You don’t know what you will think of tattoos when you have the first one. As you get more it changes and it’s a lifestyle. 3) Be clear headed, so get it done in the morning or afternoon

I will never do drugs, tattoos or anything like that but I love seeing or hear stories about things like that. There just so interesting and of course it strange because I will never do it like a whole other world and that’s amazing in my opinion.

I’ve only had 3 artist work on me. I’m pretty covered. 1st tattoo was an easy single piece, I was 21. 2nd artist did majority of my work, consulting on everything and won awards, in magazines and worked together for 24yrs. 3rd artist did filler pieces which were very specific.

About the guy with his X’s first letter, a childhood friend of mine had a tattoo of his wife’s name on his upper arm… but above that there were 7 other names of his former girlfriends, and wifes, each crossed out with a single tattooed line across it….

A friend and I both got the inside of our bottom lips tattooed at about the same time and his was virtually gone after 6 years but mine is still there and I got it done in 1990.

Love your channel and videos. I'm about halfway done with my tattoo going from ankles to top of the neck. My only regret is life happened after I finished my upper body (18 hours) and it has been 7 years since then and it has faded so you can see clearly new vs old. I'm going to be getting some recolor on the old just going to cost a lot more and a lot more hours in the chair.
