Hey guys, sorry for pinning this comment on all videos but I want to give you an update on the channel. I've been slowly adding a show archive to the videos including a full transcript added as sub titles and a full track listing (with links to KZbin videos for each track). Pilkipedia archive link has been added as well and I've been having fun illustrating some of KP's best bits, I'm adding these to a shop incase anyone is interested: www.man-moth.com/ It's taking me a while to update the archives, especially as I don't work Mondays so please bear with me as I chip away at it. Lots of love, Man Moth.

"plays out of nowhere" when it's an óbvious reference. KZbin is líttered with stuff like this. "you guys! I bet you didn't notice thís!" completely obvious to everybody. If you think it's fúnny or póignant, that's great. But it isn't "out of nowhere".

@@omikronweapon I don't think OP meant it like that. I think he meant the suddenness that Karl plays the theme, he barely skips a beat after saying his line and also I think the theme is played at a slightly raised volume vs. their voices. This combination makes it pretty funny, which is I guess what OP was saying. I've always found that bit funny anyway every time I listen to this episode - how Karl leads into it and the theme suddenly plays. I can just imagine Karl being proper chuffed with the delivery of it, having practiced it in his head prior to the show going out.

The reason a TV series would fail is the same reason Karl's segment failed. The premise is flawed. 'Do we need 'em?' is a stupid question, as evidenced by the people who were kind enough to waste their time being bemused by a moron. It's Karl at his Dunning Kruger-afflicted worst. If only he had spent a little more time trying to understand the subject, he never would have called these people. A little more study and even the idea of calling them would feel mildly embarrassing. I think Ricky was happy to let Karl dangle on the subject of evolution, speciation etc because there was more comedic mileage in keeping Karl ignorant and arrogant in his opinions. Although to be fair, he did present Karl with the simple fact that if a species exists, it has earned its place.

like these are critical situation in which you being able to tell if someone's a midget is vítal. xD "Agáin, Steve, if I were to meet them in a restaurant...." Really, it's just Karl (unconsciously) defending his crass words. Though, it's quite intriguing how his mind works. He's honestly convinced himself it's necessary to have nicknames like "Elephant-man" or indeed, "little midget fella". As if most of Britain is likely to be bumping in to these characters, or discussing them on a daily basis. Karl: I just don't know what to call this deformed person! Little deformed fella: Just call me John, that's my name. Karl at restaurant: Party of Pig-faced man of South Sussex, please. John: ffs...

Still love Karl! IMO they never bettered these original XFM shows. Apart from the office, this was their apex. f you're a fan of the K-man and you missed his cameo as the copper recently in ‘the thief, his wife and the Canoe’ he was genuinely good. Was pleasantly surprised. The whole show was good too! But seeing him call ‘bullshit’ made it all worthwhile. Would never have guessed from these days he’d ever be able to act. Miles better than in Derek. Displayed some actual nuance...

Thanks for the tip, had no idea he’d even done this. Proper little acting role there, he’s actually quite good. It’s on KZbin if anyone else is interested.

Probably just the ones who are forever complaining about Ricky laughing and Karl talking so quiet, and nobody has fixed it and made their tiny world perfect, so they take their wickle tantrums out on the dislike button. That, plus people who have no sense of humour.

sounded perfectly understandable to me. His explanation anyway. Perhaps the reason why it sounds like gibberish is because homeopathy IS gibberish. The basic meaning is to get a substance that actually works, but then thin it down SO much, that there's nothing there anymore. It's like putting a single grain of salt in a glas of water and claim it tastes salty. Or rather: claim it's good for you because it contains salt. Isn't that exactly what Ricky explained? I guess it hinges on people knowing what "dilute" means.

Papa Garcia - Natalie & Nucy kzbin.info/www/bejne/aWe2oWyFnrNon8k So, I máy have bought the album second hand júst because I liked the intro to this song. I couldn't find it anywhere online, and even the official site is (long?) dead. I figure, since second hand sales aren't going towards the artist, I'm mostly excused for sticking it online. My first music upload, so I have no idea if or when it's going to be taken down. I guess I'll find out. I have no interest in gaining money or subs for this, simply to share his music online, so at least people can lísten to it. The rest of the album is worth a listen as well, in my opinion. I plan to upload those as well.

In fairness I can understand why a few people are going a bit Columbo (one more thing, my wife loves ya) and suspecting Karl's ghost story guest is actually Sturgess as they do sound similar. Their voices aren't actually the same though. Pilky obviously didn't just pull a fast one by getting Claire in. She would've been too coked up anyway.
