I just heard it for the first time as I was getting some laundry out of the dryer. I dropped all the laundry and had to hold on to the dryer for minutes on end to keep from falling over. Completely agree with Steve on that "buying someone drinks all night and them fobbing you off later" thing. Had that a couple times, when I used to regular pubs/clubs and it's so annoying. Not that you don't get to pull, just it's deceiving. I would've probably still bought drinks, chatted and had a laugh even if I knew they weren't interested. There is a difference between "being on the pull" and "going out for a good time" lol.
