Changing oil brands once in a while can clean out the engine as they may use different detergents. Like you said "KEEP YOUR OIL CLEAN AND YOU WON´T HAVE A SLUDGE PROBLEM"!! Oh, I didn´t know they sold Mannol products in the States, it´s a German Co. I use their oil all the time.

Nice video great job Try dumping it in the intake will running it will smoke like a freight train Then let it sit over night this will dissolve all the carbon build up on the combustion side Then you can flush the engine I used diesel to flush a 429ford with 99000 miles When I went to rebuilt it at school It looked brand new inside

Never had a problem with any flush on any engine diesel or petrol high performance or otherwise. It is good to flush out the engine with cheap oil after you have drained off the old oil and flush mix but if the oil is left to drain well it isn't really essential.

It's not about whether or not they can remove sludge, but where that sludge ends up going and what it could potentially interfere with, especially in VVT engines. Do an oil and filter change once a month for 3 or 4 months and this will slowly flush your engine, with no risk. If you remove it all at once on a high mileage car with an engine flush you're taking your chances.

if your engine needs a flush simply changing the oil won't do anything no matter how often you do it. Changing your oil regularly is what stops you from needing an engine flush but once you need it you need it.

When I bough my Mercedes clk 320 v6 petrol. The engine inside was like a mine of carbon, full of it. So I removed the oil filter and wash it with petrol, put it back and run 4qurt of oil with 4qurt of diesel fuel ,for about one week everyday, and removed and clean the oil filter in the first 3 days every day. Was a lot of charcoal built up in it. After this I removed everything, I runed a clean new but cheap oil , with new filter for 100 miles. And then chandeliers the oil again and put 10w60. And done. Spotless engine.

I have an older (2001) high milage car. I bought this flush, but I didn't dare to use it, because I was affraid of damaging my engine. I used it in two portions and about 8 mins at idle. I might use one full can in the close future. The good thing is, It claims not to hurt engine components and seals. I believe it because it didn't smell like an agressive solvent like people pour diesel as a flush .. so I didn't experience anything bad so far. I keep change the oil and filters regularly, mainly mannol. :)

I recently flushed a 16 year old VW 1.8T 20V with 132k miles with SeaFoam SF16 and ran it for 300 miles before an oil and filter change. It didn’t kill it. It didn’t cause any oil leaks from shifting the gunk experts say helps seal the block. The car was regularly serviced with quality oil and wasn’t in a bad state but during the treatment the engine was slightly quieter at idle and definitely smoother. After the flush and change the car is running very well with no detrimental effects. The experts may be right in certain cases and the benefits will vary from case to case but as far as I’m concerned it was money well spent.

It's safe in a push lawn mower engine. They have splash oil systems. Might or might not be safe in oil pump bore hole systems in auto, marine, & farm engines.

Wow a person wanted help 2 days ago to fix engeine this is insane it is the same engine😂 I've checked spark and it starts with start gas then dies will change spark a see. But maybe fueling is bad what do you think?

I have used several different brands of engine flush over the years with good success and no problems, however I read recently that flushes could damage seals and gaskets resulting in minor leaks. While I have never had this problem, I wonder if that could be possible. Thanks for the video!

Never put this silly product if your engine is running fine no sludge build up. Probalby only once in the entire life of problematic car like Dodge Intrepid, some older VW and Volvos, etc. Don't use this product on modern excellent Toyota or Honda engines. It will cause high wear on the engines and seals.

I show in the start with heating the oil to extreme temperatures burning it. Next i use a torch once i added the oil to the mower to make sure its baked on. Last i run the mower under a heavy load then remove the valve cover to make sure its so bad the oil alone will not clean the buildup. Then i started the testing!

Watch my videos i show exactly what i do first burn and raise oil to extreme temperatures even adding a small amount of materials to burn in the oil to make a really bad buildup then pour into the engine and use my torch to make sure its burned on the engine. Next run engine a few hours and hope it doesn't seize up then check to make sure it hasn't cleaned itself up next start test. I show it all watch the video's.

A lawnmower engine doesn't have an oil pump or pressurised oil system, working through small galleries. You've done nothing that will put minds at rest. Clearly cleans great, but the bits removed, could cause problems circulating in a car engine, if they blocked oil passages, or the fine filter meshes in VVT solenoids. I'm still going to use a flush on my car this week, as it is the first oil change since I bought it, but that doesn't mean I'm 100% convinced it will be problem free.

I understand completely so the space between the crankshaft bearing and so on are actually tighter tolerances than a actual oil gallery. Please tell us what happens if you want to use it. Always follow manufacturer's recommendations..

@@NATESINTERACTIVEAUTO I changed the oil in my V6 Jag yesterday morning. Had already purchased BG EPR before seeing your video and didn't know Mannol had a flush product. I did use Mannol 7707 5w30 synthetic oil and all seems very good. Was first oil change under my ownership and car is definitely even quieter after the change, despite service history suggesting oil only had 5,000 miles on it. How much is down to the EPR or possibly a different oil viscosity I've no idea. I've used Mannol products for a few years and been very impressed and will soon be taking my biggest gamble. My Jag has a ZF6HP26 transmission with the LifeGuard 6 fluid costing a fortune. Mannol reckon their Dexron VI is suitable, whilst many on Jag forums cry that LifeGuard MUST be used. Although each change is only about 60-70% of transmission capacity, the fluid is cheap enough to do regular changes. The other expense on those transmissions is the plastic sump with integral filter. I've bought the metal sump conversion with separate filter, so next time will just need a gasket and filter that can be had for under £20.

NATES INTERACTIVE AUTO in really don't know what as you covered lots of stuff. I would test that Russian brand additive that states it prevents oil consumption. I forgot the name of the product, but I saw it has a lot of hype in the last 5 years. Nevertheless I doubt will work on those engines that burns oil by default from the factory like some vw ones 😁.
