I feel like this has to be said. I'm really worried that suddenly depression and anxiety are becoming a pop culture fad. I truly suffer from both to the point it's debilitating at times. Depression is NOT a circumstantial occurrence! Depression is a chemical imbalance in the brain. Yes, there are times in life when things that happen can bring you down into a low point or dark cloud, but it eventually goes away. True clinical depression does not. It never leaves you, it just bears down harder at times more than other times. I have lived with and fought the exhausting battle with clinical depression for most of my life. During good and bad times it's there. I see a Dr and a counselor for it and my anxiety and will probably be on medication for the rest of my life. That's ok. I'm not ashamed anymore to admit that. In fact, I thank God for giving man the wisdom to create certain medicines and for science that researches it. Deep grief and sadness are hard and real, but it does not equate to true depression. Depression is a life-long battle and treatment and counseling for it has to be sought out taken advantage of. I dont know Manny's mind or heart but I just really hope this isn't some kind of game. People have taken their own lives because of clinical depression. I just beg everyone to educate yourselves on the difference of situational vs clinical depression. It's a slap in the face to those of us who fight this monster daily to just think it simply will go away or that we should cheer up and get over it. Would you tell a cancer patient that?? I doubt it. Think before you speak. (Not literally you Rich. Just talking to the masses)

Lucy Lu I went through several kinds because I hated the way they made me feel. I ended up trying Lexapro and I haven't looked back since. I take Ativan for my anxiety but not daily, only if I need it or I'm having an attack or about to. The Lexapro gave me bad headaches my first 4 days on it but they told me that's the most common symptom. After that headaches stopped. I like it because I can't tell I'm taking anything if that makes sense. I'm not a zombie or sleepy or out of it. I feel "normal". It just helps keep me leveled out basically. I still have tough days off/on but nothing like it was before the meds. Keep trying different ones until you find what works for you and always tell your Dr about symptoms or side effects you think you're having too. Good Drs will want you to communicate.

But he has to remember karma is a bitch. You eventually receive what you put out on this world. My honest and humble opinion is that he should go back to his roots when he was really likeable. Gross Liz you know I’ve gone back and forth about this, even with celebrities speaking out. My final thoughts are, if it’s bringing awareness to mental health issues and breaking down the stigma than I’m ok with it. I have all of it for real girl and I’m bipolar and always have to hide. If it becomes more of the norm (real or not, even though it’s disrespectful) than I think it helps the cause anyway. I completely understand feeling the opposite and no disrespect to you or anyone else who feels that way. 🙏😊

I think Mannys tears were real. The thing with someone who really struggles with anxiety and depression is it doesn't matter how good our life is sometimes it's not enough. So I get that even though he has a palette and money he can be sad. Anyway I just am glad he did it. The beauty guru persona of everything being makeup and beauty gets old. I wanna see the real side. I understand that a lot of people struggle with depression and anxiety. But, I honestly feel like it’s become way more common now. Almost like a trend? Like I’m not sure if doctors are just diagnosing people without finding out the problem, or if people are making it up, I don’t know. I know I have suffered with both for so long. I would go through stretches of not getting out of bed, not washing my hair, not wanting to exist. It seemed like everything they put me on either put me to sleep or made the depression worse. There was a point where my boyfriend would put me in the bathtub and wash me because I just couldn’t do it. Im sure there’s a lot of people suffering from it, I just noticed a spike over the past few years? I dunno. I also don’t see what all of the fuss is about. All of your videos are like this. I don’t think you’re making fun of him. I don’t know. What do I even know? 😂
