@@ice_queen9 That's because IRL you don't get bonuses based on if you gave the development contract to the person with the most competent plan, you get 'bonuses' based on awarding the development contract to whoever will give you the best 'totally not a bribe to a corrupt official' incentive. It's kind of amazing that, IRL, we have a system where the player/controller can overuse resources, underprovide for their population and basically fail at every single task a city planning game would set you to achieve, and THAT'S what benefits you most, as the city burns in the background.

You should take away the family from the hunting lodge. That way the animals can recover and then when they are full again you can hunt them. Best way, pull them away from the hunting lodge during spring and summer and let them hunt during fall and winter.

Also build larger farming fields. 1 family can feasibly work 1 Morgan of land. Build 2 fields of 1 Morgan Each for 1 family. Crop Rotation. 1st field: Year 1 Emmer Wheat, Year 2 Fallow, Year 3 Emmer Wheat. Field 2: Year 1 Fallow, Year 2 Emmer Wheat, Year 3 Fallow. That way, you're not stripping the fields of fertile land.

Apollo, I was watching the happiness and the reason it goes down is because when family's move into the village the average happiness decreases. Your happiness went up to above 70% at 58:00 but then went down when the family's joined. I'm no expert but just from observing that's what I saw. Love your vids! Edit: Also, if you could read the notifications that would be great. Throughout the whole video there were notifications you just missed, and I was like Ughhhh! Same thing with bannerlord. It is funny because you acknowledge your complacency.

It's a great idea to build multiple wells thru our your town. When buildings catch fire less of a distance they travel for water to put them out. Another note. Once you build the garden and goat pen additions those villagers don't work within the greater town as I have seen. So some regular houses or houses with the additional house helps keeping your numbers for construction and market and the like helps balance everything. As for the town name I think Apollo Shire is a good name.

You can build a first residential area in that yellow fertility area, and have that nearby the farms for the farmers (with a cute little path through the trees lol), and then cut a second residential area out of those trees to the east as you expand that way for the industrial side of things (just underneath the industrial buildings and parallel to the other houses, that can help if there are any buildings with effects for residential homes as their AOE should (hopefully!) cover a bit of both) - Loved the demo, cannot frigging wait for this game, thanks for covering it!!!

Apollo lived in a town belonging to the kingdom of Bereneute. It’s wasn’t a pleasant kingdom. The towns around the capital kept getting raided by brigands so Apollo decided to flee with a group of friends. Apollos best friend was on his way to meet Apollo when he was cut down by the kings guard. But actually it was only rumours that reached Apollos ears. In truth it was a group of brigands. After this Apollo swore to destroy the kingdom of Bereneute and his king. When they settled down the named their new kingdom Elrodel.

Dude, when you say you don't min max, let's also not play mistakenly. You can build more than one house at a time so you can set up a housing district, which you actually set up houses next to each other. Also, the double houses in one plot is not an extension but doubles 2 family in one plot. Not building that is a mistake. I can understand it if you didn't know and not build it but showing it and not build it is showing people to make mistakes.
