The speed run is a great concept! Love to see it applied here and very well done indeed. One thing I find to be efficient is to "preload" the sawpit with timber by assigning an ox to the sawpit before you get the initial 5 burgages built. That way when you assign a family to the sawpit the timber will already be sitting there. This tactic works in the same way with farmhouses. You can assign an ox to the farmhouse and the ox will find a guide and plow the fields without you ever even assigning a family. Then, when you assign the family all they have to do is sow the field. (Assuming it's not September of course). Come to think of it, you can also "preload" the trading post by setting the major trade route to export before you buy the trade route, the family will fill the post with the desired good and you can buy the route when you have the money, or wait until you have 50 items for the most efficient first sale...

Thank you, appreciate you as always!! Dude, that is a huge tactic I did not know that you could "preload" the Sawpit or other things like that actually 🤯

I can't even beat the baron in 2 years and yet this guy beat him in 16 months

2 year is also really fast! It took me a few attempts to get this timing right. Now you know the strats to make it happen a bit faster maybe :)

It's from building the Manor, 2 families move into the Manor and it shows them as part of your Town automatically. But they are not actually villagers that you can assign to tasks or anything. This happens any time you build a Manor, they just live there.

You had 2k influence and 600 silver right at the get go... that's gg... no? What if you use those mercs and hire more mercs at end of month/ beginning of next month and beat him out of his region? Then do you have to wait for him to claim the other two regions? Or is it gg right then? Honest question...

Since I had it set to Conquest, I had to take all Regions on the map. 1k Influence each for the 2 Neutral Regions, and then 2k for the Baron's Region. Otherwise the standard setting is "Domination" which means you just have to defeat the Baron to win (only would need to take his 1 region if you do it before he takes more). But yea, honestly I'm not sure what happens if you wipe out the Baron's Region while other Neutral Regions are still on the map. Either way I would have had to spend all 2k Influence on his Region and then would still needed to claim the 2 Neutral Regions after that with this approach. If it was just on Domination I think I could win within like 4 months as you said basically lol 😛

Omg thanks so much for that explanation! 😊 I see now what you are saying about the conquest vs. domination settings. You might be right that the game says all regions need to be taken but actually gives you the win after just taking the barons regions. Idk. I seem to remember choosing conquest and winning it early but I didn't pay that much attention. 😅 but yeah, even if you have to take all four, you can just take his and wait for him to claim the other two. In that case, it might be more efficient to let him kill the raiders and bandits... he seems to get more influence for taking care of them.
