Ran with the Marlon Brawdo and it worked great. Only thing I ran into was veggie pantries tended to really fill up, but this may be from not micro-managing my veggie/apple plot burgages to be the ones manning the granary. Going to try a refinement: a 7 corpse pit cross, cut back with road arrangement to 3.5 in each direction, Then divide each half into 3 double burgage plots. Make a 2 CP rectangle in the middle so I can still get in the 4 beehives each direction, but 2 Granaries in the middle with 6 each stalls. The idea is to keep the same farming area, but increase the pantry space by a third and have a gather only, and stall only granary capability. In the current great map I have, this also gets around an initial conflict between getting the first 6 pop capacity and where the tents are at start. Have a map now with normal game/clay/stone, rich berries/iron and 3+ Rye just north on the river map. Anyone else running into URE5 crashes - had 2 yesterday, that also corrupted a save file well before crash - - my manor and tower were no longer finished? Updated some drivers last night, will see if the experience continues.

The simple way to do the 6.5 is to draw the diagonal lines first from the side centers of that outer CP, then per TactiCat.

At this point, it would be a good add in to have builder templates to plop down, instead of using the corpse pit. Say, 1/2 or 1 etc, morgen sized triangles squares and rectangles to auto build. Then a alt-x kind of feature that auto-deletes all the templates.

Great design! However, I find it easier just to use the central corpse pit and create a square around, instead of rings. It's more convenient and it's way easier to create the optimal burgage plots that way.

@@davidwilson6829 thank you, I tried that option too, at the end, whoever is running the granary and storehouse creates a duplicated stall with the same food, and I end up with 2 meat, 2 clothes, 2 firewood... even having only 1 family assigned to it. @JohnnyHughes115 күн бұрын
It depends on if you are OK missing one or 2 families when starting. I start with 3 double Burbage plots.. to get the 6th family by April. Then to timber, 2 foods. Then another double Burbage plot by the original 3 so as not to miss the May family. At that point I could probably build this and not miss any Families. If you are OK missing one or two families .. certainly not that big a deal in the long run .. then you could do it any time, even the start after timber.
@Domarnett15 күн бұрын
I pause the game at the very start and do the layout, and then fill it in as I need the buildings. I usually don’t get that 6th family until May, though I have gotten them by April a couple of times, so it is possible.

I checked that 1 honey is produced in 1 apiary once every 7 days. So to get 2 honey per day you need 14 apiaries. Am I right? I tested it on the latest patch.
@TacticatGaming15 күн бұрын
It’s a bit more complicated a you need 24-36 depending on logistics
@JacekRoszak198615 күн бұрын
Ok but if I would build apiaries beside houses of people that work there and those people would have nothing else to do beside honey (no workshops), and the granary would be dedicated for it with enough workers, would it be 14? Or 24? Because if you examine that closely it really produces 1 honey every 7 days…

Posted this direct to Manor Lords Steam Feedback: My comments are based on TactiCat latest videos on the above, his comments are based on his testing and the work of Chuckw44, PARRY.B, Chilled Sloth. kzbin.info/www/bejne/gpzZdnqGoJaFZqc kzbin.info/www/bejne/gZycaKdtrLSLjdE Currently their testing indicates the pops go and get food according to this order: 1. Granaries. 2. Stalls. 3. Pantries. But, approval for growth depends on stall access, I know by play for this to be true. It would make more sense for it to be: 1. Resident Pantry (not all pantries). 2. Stalls. 3. Granaries. This still relieves the stall bottleneck, but aligns market approval with consumption instead of being at odds. Spoilage should be heaviest least in order: stalls (it's none now), pantries, small granary, large granaries. Clothing should be a once a year consumed item per FAMILY. Firewood/Charcoal should be per month per FAMILY not burgage plot. Currently, families go and get firewood/charcoal, but not food/clothing - change that to going/getting food/clothing too. Let them finish a task their on, but when the RNG says for them to gather, then next task is gathering. Suggest boosting eggs to 2 per month per burgage plot.

Have watched vido after video, "trick" after "trick", and still cant feed a city of 400. "make more carrots" have large carrot backyards that still only produce 250 carrots in season and get depleted in the blink of an eye, "plant more apples" have large orchards that produce 3 and 400 apples in season still get depleted in no time. I still have hunting, 2 fisheries pulling enormous weight, 2 large farms producing about 250 rye/wheat yearly, and 160 sheep with about 70 lambs and only butchering sheep. Its still never enough and im contantly looking at my borderline empty granaries. Just sorta makes you wanna quit, let them starve. Doesnt seem like theres much fixing it unless i cover the entire region in food sources....for 32 houses.

@@TacticatGaming I have 3 granaries and 3 storehouses, 1 of each with no workers just for potential surplus (and on materials/storehouse i have plenty) 2 of each have 6 workers, 24 total, i forget how many stalls that makes but clicking the market its never topped in terms of capacity (and granary at like 5% operation when i have so little food left). The only thing thats far away is the fish thats down by the pond, and both farms where i had to chase down fertility. Otherwise market stalls are central and surrounded by the town houses, and so are granaries/storehouses that are in the center of town i created from the very start of the (highlands) map. I didnt mention before but i also have 23 plots with pigs and the meat perk, so these are another 180+ meat a year, meat that i never even see because it too instantly vanishes. I import barley for tavern ale because theres just no fertility anywhere (funny enough just importing 27 has the tavern always topped out and serving everyone, fascinating when i look at the struggle food is). Maybe it is me missing the little detail that would make food storage explode, but its certainly frustrating needing this long to figure out what it is. edit: your videos are fine tho, im just venting.
